We have eaten here multiple times although it’s been at least a year. We previously really enjoyed the subs. The subs now are bland and the bread is hard and stale. Will not be going back.

Very tasty subs. I went with a friend. We took a medium ladder and hook and a medium steak and cheese. Both were extremely good and much better than subs from other standard chains that I have tried. Also, we highly appreciated the fact that they donate a part of their earnings to the firefighters.

Only positive things to say about this place. Never compare firehouse to a sub shop it is a whole different way of thinking on the sub game. I got the steamer and bowl of chili. They were awesome. I am stopping on my way home to grab a hero for my dinner tonight. It’s about a three hour drive for me so it’s all good. We do not have a firehouse subs in our location so on my visit to chapel Hill I made it count.

The store had 1 other person it in the entire time we placed our order waited and then left with our food. I ordered mushrooms and there was 1 mushroom on the entire sub. It was a very weak sandwich. Normally they’re full and you’re getting getting you paid for. But it was more bread than it was anything. The onions and green peppers tasted like they’d been left out for days. Won’t be going back to this location.

This was my first time at Fire house Subs, and will be my last. The sub was absolutely disgusting, the chili had no flavor what so ever. The Mac and cheese, hardly had any flavor and the pickle didn’t even taste like a pickle. The man at the register that took our order was rude, instead of giving us a few minutes to look at the menu and decide what we want, he stared at us and make me feel like we were wasting his time.

It was pretty good food I enjoyed it. The only reason I would say they lost a star as their subs were so good was due to their small storw front and their ability to turn over the tables quickly enough as people left. People just sat a a dirty table because no one came to clean them. Though I have seen smaller that only do take out orders, I was at least happy to have somewhere to sit due to the longer than normal wait.
