First time at Firehouse Subs in Oshkosh. In general, pretty pleased. The sandwich actually had some weight to it—good bread, solid amount of meat, and didn’t fall apart halfway through. Definitely better than a Subway.
Staff was friendly, place was clean, and they got the order right. Prices are a bit up there for a sub, but at least you’re getting something that tastes fresh.
Nothing mind-blowing, but I’d go back.

The staff was very friendly and was very quick to make our order. Our two little ones were very hungry, so we decided to eat our to go order inside and the kind woman behind the counter gave us to 2 cup drinks for free. Life is very expensive nowadays, so it was a very kind gesture. The same woman even came by us and asked how everything was. I wish I remembered her name, but she really made our in dining experience very nice.

Delicious! My family always enjoys picking up Firehouse. We drive from Appleton to Oshkosh just to get it. I especially enjoy stopping because the owner, a friendly older gentleman, is always so welcoming. He reminds me of my grandpa and I just look forward to the brief chat. The Philly sub is my favorite and the staff are always willing to tweak the Turkey Bacon Ranch club to be chicken for my husband. The chili is also a must! We enjoy our meal every time and like to round up our purchase for their foundation!

1:55pm today at Koehler store in Oshkosh, WI I had the most ridiculous requests any manager anywhere has ever asked.
I work 90 hours a week DoorDashing, as I’m working my way out of debt. A customer had redone an order for Firehouse Subs as they had made it with the wrong bread the first time. After giving a hard time about picking up the order, as the order was finally being redone… the manager has the audacity to come up and ask for me to mark the order as picked up so they wouldn’t “get dinged” for it. In case you don’t know, that would affect my time allowed to make the delivery on time, which can negatively affect my Dashing income.
Sorry, Mr Manager, but no, I will not take the fall for a mistake made by workers YOU are getting paid to manage/lead. I don’t work 90+ hours a week so I can take the fall when you, Mr Manager, are being paid to take accountability and full responsibility for what happens on your watch. As a man, as a manager in a leadership role, you face planted on this one. Do better Mr Manager, be a man.

Always decent subs, I always get the Brisket, the one thing I have noticed over time is that they have really been skint on the sauce, which is a bummer because it makes the sub better than the others. Yesterday I had a great sub, good amount of barbecue sauce. Today, none, just cheese sauce and mayo, very disappointing

Yum, delicious subs at a pretty reasonable price; always check for coupons or join their sub club. Quality of meat far surpasses Subway & Jimmy Johns. 2023 Update!! They have different bread and the medium subs are WAY smaller.

Firehouse has a very good selection of great subs. Not your run of the mill subs you get at the other chains. They are also a positive force in the community, raising money for local fire fighters. I feel good about spending my money there. The staff is friendly and they keep a clean house. If you’ve never eaten there I recommend you give it a try.
