Firehouse Subs, located in the cafeteria at The Mall at Millenia, has always held a special place in my heart. I genuinely appreciate how the restaurant honors first responders, including firefighters, EMTs, and police officers, while serving up some of the most delicious sub sandwiches around. The quality of their food is consistently impressive, and the customer service is commendable, with staff often working quickly to take orders and prepare meals. It’s a great spot for anyone craving a hearty sandwich, and the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a favorite among many.
However, my experience at this particular location has highlighted a few areas for improvement. While the food is fantastic, the speed of service can be a bit lacking at times. There have been occasions when I’ve waited anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes for my meal, which can be frustrating, especially during busy lunch hours. It seems that the kitchen could benefit from hiring additional staff to help streamline the process. Prioritizing orders, particularly for those on a tight schedule, such as employees on their breaks, would greatly enhance the overall experience. With a few adjustments, Firehouse Subs could elevate its service to match the quality of its food.

I came to this location at the Millenia mall at 8:45 and there was no line. We waited in the front for someone to take our order because there were two woman in the back. When someone finally came to the front she was unwelcoming and straight faced , and said it’s going to be a while and we are closing soon and we have a lot of orders. So naturally we thought they were busy so we went next door to Charley’s Philly steaks. Charley’s Philly steaks had a long line and they still took our order. As we were waiting for our food from Charley’s Philly steaks we look over at firehouse subs and this is what it looks like (see picture) This is proof that some people have no idea how to act professionally and should not be working in the food industry. I’m very sad because I have heard great things about firehouse subs and this was going to be my first experience and now I won’t be able to try it. SHOUT OUT TO CHARLEYS FOR PROVIDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Julia was amazing. She was so sweet, attentive, and just all around amazing. She has great customer service skills and one of the best employees I’ve had at any firehouse. She even remember my drink order for a refill. Food was good and didn’t have to wait too long.
