Sandwiches are great but night time crew was not enthusiastic to make subs. The crewmember I’m guessing he’s a crew member because he has a black shirt and he was on the register was very friendly and nice. I mean look if you don’t want to make a sub past a certain time. Why not close at 8? It’s insane. Paying full price then having to feel guilty wanting food like what is that. Guy with the blue shirt and the glasses big White Guy must’ve told us a few times that they close at 10. I’m aware what time they close but it’s like if the sign is on I want a sandwich. What is the problem?You should see the manager in the blue shirt slamming things with an attitude. Fryer shut down at 9:15? Like what am I missing.

This place is TERRIBLE!!!. The service her is awful. Waited 30 minutes for two sandwiches. The service is extremely slow. I was the only person there at the time. I left went to the grocery store next store store I had already placed my order. Went next store to the grocery store. I came back , and my sandwiches were still not made…how is that possible?? To many young people working there no urgency at all. I will be reaching out to corporate as well. Very poor service.

Saturday morning with not that many people in the store. Just had to cancel because it takes just as long to get a full steak dinner from a restaurant.
What in work violations is going on at this location? NO you should not be holding a baby at the register while ringing customers up. I get it, you’re helping out the single mother but offer to pay for her daycare if you’re that short staffed.
Good intentions I’m sure but it turned this location into a task rather than a break to eat.
Keep in mind some of these people are on lunch breaks and would like to enjoy their meal and not have to wait 40 minutes to hurry up and eat for 5. There’s way too many options for food in the area so once is enough for me to never return.

Ordered two NY Steamers “fully involved”, which should have included lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. Got home and there was nothing on them but corned beef. They even left off the pastrami. Will not be coming back to this location.

The sandwich was luke-warm, and the bread was really dry. I could have overlooked that because it’s delivery, and most drivers don’t care about keeping food hot, it seems. *The chicken and dumpling soup, however, was SOUR. Like, tasted like lemon or pickle juice was used instead of broth. I took two bites and couldn’t stomach another. Not creamy, no richness, just incredibly sour.*

When do subs taste their best? At Firehouse and with a side of great customer service. Thanks to Ben at the Michigan and Orange St Firehouse my order was never better. I mistakenly ordered from another store and Ben was nice enough to take care of it.

Food was ready immediately and the lady who helped me was awesome. Her name was Becca, and she was the nicest person I’ve interacted with in a very long time. She numbered the boxes when I said it was for two different people and when I seemed confused, she grabbed a pen and wrote all the information on the bags. Just an all-around pleasant, helpful person. It wasn’t forced customer service. Just innate kindness. Thank you for a great experience.
