I really like the food and turned out to be my favorite subs. I will miss this place really much. Everyone there is so nice ❤️ I wish you all the very best you deserve it. Every time I went there on my bike there was a very nice guy that would say some fun things and would make me really smile.

Meyerland is an excellent shopping experience for those that live in the Medical Center and want to shop unmolested by certain element in the Med Center proper, although it’s undoubtedly a deeper systemic issue, it can still feel unsafe for the elderly and folks with kids.
The food at this Firehouse Subs you can tell is prepared with vigor and passion, and best of all quickly. The inside is very clean alongside the restrooms which is a sure fire indicator of a restaurants habits.
The staff are super friendly and approachable, it’s nothing new to have them politely help you the moment you walk in after they say Welcome to Firehouse Subs. Small talk that actually matters and shows they care, alongside table touches if you dine-in.
There is a table and umbrella outside if you wish to people watch and eat outside. The idea behind Firehouse is an excellent one and pays tribute to our Firefighters all across this nation, the ones that are running into a fire when everyone else is running out, and risk their lives daily to help others live longer ones. Donate handsomely if you can, because they make no qualms about offering and they are transparent as to where it goes.

Never again I’m buying a salad from here their salads are the worse I have ever tried. I could have made this better at home. It’s nit even worth paying $12 for this poor looking and my co/worker’s pickles on his sandwich looked like someone took a bite before putting it in his sandwich. Disgusting!!!!!

I needed lunch and this happened to be the closest place. I didn’t have high expectations , it was just convenient, but it was the most delightful food pick up I’ve ever had. The man at the counter was just about the sweetest person. He told me where to fill my drink since it’s not obvious, assured me that if any flavor was out I can ask him to refill it, and was just generally so kind. Plus, the food is delicious!!

UPDATED REVIEW! CHANGED RATING TO 5 STARS! Apparently the lady I had bad customer service experiences with was transferred to another firehouse subs location. The manager at this one that I’m rating has been GREAT every time I come in. Very helpful and talkative, food is great, and last time I was in…the Dr Pepper was out and another employee immediately changed all of the sodas for the machine when I asked her about it. Very kind staff! My ONLY complaint is that it’s a little too pricey. But it’s always a treat for me to stop in for a quick lunch. Thank you management for resolving the poor customer service issue!
My review from months ago: originally 2 stars. The food always tastes good but the service here is a big thumbs down. I’ve had the same lady at the register the last few times….I come in to order and she tells me to order from the app while she continues to chat with the other employees…..store isn’t busy at all, I was the only customer in store one of the times. When I had issues with the app, she was scoffing at me because I asked for her to just ring me out instead. Very rude. Again though- food is always good and I have no complaints regarding the quality of it.

Came here today to get a quick bite to eat before heading to our next destination. I ordered the Club in a Sub and my husband ordered the Turkey and Bacon. While we ordered we were asked if everything was ok that was on the sandwiches. She repeated our order back to us exactly the way we wanted it and correctly, but, I’ll come back to our order issue later. We got the meals so we were able to pick whatever size we wanted in cups and fill our drinks as well as choose chips of our liking. I apologize as I did forget to include a picture of the drink station but it was a bit dirty and sticky although everything did work. There was actually ice at this location too. So as I was getting my tea, I did notice that the plastic/rubber tray they had for us Customers to set our cup on was quite thick so I couldn’t even fill up my drink enough. There was about 2/3 inches of space I couldn’t fill otherwise it would have spilled over trying to move it from underneath the spout. We sat down and there was a lady sweeping the area. Now, when I worked here, we were told (just like at any other restaurant I worked at) that out of respect, NEVER sweep around Customers because when you sweep you’re kicking up particles and dust that could get in Customers food. So we’d wait till it was sparse in the lobby and sweep then or just spot sweep lightly. I politely tried getting the ladies attention without any luck. I was going to ask her to not sweep around where we were eating. So we got our food after a couple of minutes and I got the right thing I ordered but my husband, he got something completely different. So he ordered the Turkey and Bacon but he got the Brisket sandwich instead. Which, by the way, was more expensive than what he actually ordered. Now, yes, he did eat it and enjoyed it. But, the lady who took our order correctly repeated our order back to us detail for detail… and somehow she charged us wrong and placed the wrong order. I don’t even know how that’s possible but it happened. We hadn’t eaten all morning because we were all over the place so he didn’t want to wait for them to make his order correctly so he just ate it and enjoyed it. We’re not upset, we just don’t understand how she got everything right except the actual charging and making of the sandwich he had ordered. I don’t know if we will ever come back to this location again due to already having other bad experiences here but we shall see. We have given this location several tries. I love the food but I can’t deal with a location being dirty and also not caring about possibly contaminating Customers food by sweeping freely around Customers while they’re eating instead of keeping up with it throughout the day here and there. Watching her sweep, anyone could tell there was a lot of mess on the floors prior to us walking in. She was gathering quite a significant amount of food and trash. So one can clearly see it isn’t being managed as it should be. I hope this location gets things in order because I’d hate to have to go elsewhere when I love this company.

While clean, the restaurant doesn’t maintain food quality. I have eaten here a few times and end up sick afterwards. Not sure if something just doesn’t agree with me in their meat or bread, or if there is something actually bad about it. I do like all the options they have. I cannot see the meat because it is behind a tall counter, so I cannot verify it is kept properly.

I absolutely LOVE this firehouse subs meyerland plaza location! Words can’t even describe how awesome the staff members are. Every time I walk in I’m greeted with friendly smiles and positive attitudes. They even give recommendations on what toppings would go best with what subs. I’ve tried some of the recommendations and it did make my sub taste even better.

TLDR: online order of B1G1 charged for one sandwich: all the service fees, taxes, delivery fees etc etc for two sandwiches but only delivered one sandwich. Even after I told the delivery person to make sure there is two.
