The manager at the Jones Valley Firehouse turned me away because I had a service animal with me. I did not have her service vest on at the time, but that shouldn’t matter — I stated several times that she is my service animal, and I was only here to get a to-go order, not dine-in, and the manager still asked me to leave. I feel prejudiced against and I thought I’d leave the score I feel they deserve for this behavior.

This is my favorite Firehouse location. Always smooth, easy transactions. The Firehouse on Memorial Parkway isn’t so great.
I typically get the SmokeHouse brisket and cheddar sub on wheat, and an unsweet tea with lime, and both are always really good. My boyfriend usually gets the spicy meatball sub on white, and he really enjoys it.

Food is good just service is nothing to wright home to mom about. No welcoming or thank you or goodbye. Always plenty of staff, but tables are always dirty. It’s also more noticeable that the crew couldn’t care less if customers came or not because there is no music. So it’s awkwardly quite. Just not an upbeat atmosphere.
