Was hungry tonight and stopped in with my son. The service and food was great its was little slow but they were still very friendly which made it pleasant. The seating area had a few things looked like equipment sitting around but im sure they were cleaning up

The meatball pho was delicious, the service was friendly and quick. I didn’t care too much about the atmosphere, it was loud and you could clearly hear the conversations of others amplified, it’s a small area, I do understand that part. I’m sure a little bit of ambiance of some sort would help, maybe water flowing or some soft music. The bathroom could’ve been cleaned, I wasn’t a huge fan of that. The smell was terrible. My jasmine milk tea was great!

During our visit at peak hours, the staff demonstrated remarkable work ethic. The employees maintained a warm and welcoming demeanor despite the chaos. We waited behind four customers, but AJ’s warm greeting made our experience pleasant. She took our order, ensuring accuracy by repeating it back. Her personality shone through, and my husband enjoyed her company. AJ’s attentiveness was notable, as she cleared tables and trash while waiting for our food. Though she seemed to be in pain, she refused to take a break, prioritizing her tasks. Her commitment to her job is truly admirable, and I commend her exceptional work. AJ deserves an A+ for her outstanding service.

First time visiting since the reopening, and I am thoroughly… disappointed. The MOJITO was great, per usual, which is why this review gets 3 STARS. The SHRIMP EGG ROLLS were a total MISS. I was so excited when I saw them still on the menu, because I thought they had been taken off following the reopening. They used to be so DELICIOUS. HOWEVER, they taste nothing like before. You get one less shrimp egg roll, but the new ones are “bigger.” Unfortunately, half of the egg roll was just a fried mess of less-than-appetizing batter that went to mush in your mouth. I’m almost certain the roll itself was not fully cooked. The other half contained a small piece of shrimp, but the new recipe overall is not at all like it used to be. Even the side sauce was not the same. It was much more watery and loose, so the flavor didn’t come through like before. My heart is broken, because this used to be one of my favorite menu items, and I feel a little deceived regarding the size.

This was once my favorite restaurant! The cooking staff is rude! It seems as if they can’t or just don’t follow recipes well. The food taste different every time (salty) and they do not put everything that should be in the dish. I asked about my sandwich, the cook put frozen pate on the sandwich and wrapped it up. The eggrolls are totally different in a bad way. The cashier is friendly but do not know anything about ANY of the dishes. The owner needs to come back and re-train them! When the owner cooked it was ALWAYS delicious!

Sorry for no picture of the sandwich. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich. It was great. I would definitely recommend trying it. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was speedy and friendly. Plenty of parking and seating inside. The hot sauce bar is nice.

Oxford may be a small town, but it’s certainly noticed the change in atmosphere at the Firehouse. The new manager has brought about a revolution in customer service, transforming it from a place where you’d struggle to find a friendly face to one where staff know you by name and what you order. The attention to detail and genuine care shown by the manager is evident in the way the facility is run and how staff interact with customers. It’s a welcome change that hasn’t gone unnoticed.

There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Firehouse has become. We visit every year on Monday and Tuesday nights during football and baseball season and never interacted with employees un AJ took over. My kids adore her because she always engages with us and quickly learns what the boys want to eat as soon as we arrive, which is remarkable. We didn’t know she was the new manager until she mentioned it. She has a great personality and a wonderful attitude towards all customers. She is an excellent leadership of choice.

Super yummy pho, best in town. Nice, large portion for $13 I was super happy with it. My partner also enjoyed the rice noodle bowl with chicken (wasn’t hot but wasn’t cold). Definitely PASS on the spring rolls. Filled with mush (potato?) and were cold.
