Once I entered I did wait for a while to be seated. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time that I was there. I don’t know if they were short staffed or not. But once I was seated things were excellent from there. The menu had a large selection of things to choose from and also a different variety of food. The chips that came out in the beginning were fresh and hot out of the grease. My food came out pretty quick as well and it was very good. And the portion size was good too so good I couldn’t even finish my meal. Overall very good experience.

Ordered a pitcher of margaritas and let me tell you they were not playing. Split between the 3 of us and we were considering getting an UBER. Top notch marg!
I ordered the enchiladas with tomatio sauce and we also got the “flag” enchiladas. Both were delicious. Bonus Elotes (Mexican street corn) which was fantastic.
My only complaint was their prices are a little on the high side for Mexican cuisine. Most of the main dishes were around $17 each. But the food was good.

The food is bomb – tacos that’ll blow your mind and refried beans that’s like creamy heaven.
But it’s not just the food, the vibe is super chill and the staff is awesome. Our waitress was the absolute best! She was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re in buffalo area and looking for a place with killer food and even better service, Don Patron is your spot!

Wanted to try a Mexican restaurant I’ve never been to before to celebrate the Cinco de Mayo weekend. I love the atmosphere. The restaurant had a nice little vibe with the music playing in the background. Food and drinks were good. I had a taco salad with the street corn. The street corn is absolutely delicious.

While visiting Buffalo,New York, we found Don Patron Restaurant. I was very impressed. Very clean and neat seating area, good music, excellent service. The food was amazing. We decided for tacos, I had chorizo tacos and my husband bacon shrimp tacos. So delicious! The sides were just perfectly cooked and so flavorful. Their refried beans are the best I ever tasted, and the rice was light and crispy at the same time, just perfect. I highly recommend it. Will for sure come back. The churros were so delicious. Crispy, soft, filled with chocolate, and drizzled with caramel and more chocolate. Perfect! Can not find churros like these anywhere. Couldn’t eat all of it, got home placed them in the fridge. One day, I finally ate the rest, and I couldn’t believe these churros still tasted perfect. Best churros I ever had, hands down!

The menu was impressive. We decided to order off the lunch menu which was $9.99. We pointed at the lunch menu when ordering.
The food was great. However, it took VERY long to arrive – 30 minutes it took for 4 dishes.
When I received the bill, I was SHOCKED.
• I asked for extra sour cream and was charged for 2 portions.
• They charged me FULL price and not the lunch price for all meals.
• They added 18% gratuity for 4 people and their menu states it would be added for 6 people.
I was told I didn’t reference the lunch menu so I guess pointing to it was not sufficient. I will not return for this reason. It’s wrong to rip people off and be unpleasant about it.

I never had Mexican food! But for my
first and overall experience I give this restaurant a 3/10! Idk know if the food was authentic mexican food but it wasn’t flavorful at all! Especially for the price, The customer service was an solid 3/10 because the waiter didn’t understand english which was frustrating.. The corn on the cob 2/10 was overpriced and wasn’t flavorful at all! Very bland! The Birria tacos were a 7/10 The only thing I liked overall could’ve been more flavorful! My friend had the Birria meal which he liked both meals comes with beans and rice could added more beans! The Flan was a 2/10 never had it before but too much syrup, also order the Piña colada w/ alcohol 2/10 it was kicking though the presentation wasn’t there!

Food was good however, it took forever to arrive and then the orders were messed up. When the bills came people had stuff on there that they didn’t order. They were not prepared to handle a party of 12 that was reserved in advance.

I ordered Birria tacos and was very disappointed it was flavorless. I let the server know I was not pleased with the plate of food. She spoke to the manager who never came out to apologize or show face. She said he can give me a discount, that discount was half of 18.99 the cost of the plate I ordered. I ate one taco of the three, the whole plate of food I returned it. I should have been fully refunded. I will never eat here again absolutely disappointed.

Wow, so disappointing, we love Mexican food but this was just awful, flavorless, and totally not worth the price. What is with the rice!?! Vegetables in Mexican rice?? We didn’t go to a Chinese restaurant! Are the taco shells store bought? They definitely didn’t seem freshly made. They give you enough lettuce that it makes it look like you have a lot of food and you don’t notice there’s not much meat. Pretty sure the bartender forgot the Tequila in the margarita too, it was like a super fruity slushie. Zero stars, do not recommend!
