I love coming here every time I’m in the area. I always hear a greeting as I walk in and they remember what I always order. I highly recommend it. Food is delicious, especially the fries they added to the menu.

I visited on a Thursday night to get a late dinner of a couple of sandwiches and soup. Placing my order online was relatively easy and straightforward with ample ways to customize my sandwiches. The inside of the store looked clean and well kept. I arrived a few minutes prior to my promised time to make sure my food would not get cold if made earlier. Thankfully my food had not yet been made since I was early, and the two employees there gladly started my order then which I appreciated. A few minutes later I had my food order exactly as requested and packaged neatly to boot.
I took home a bowl of chili, small Engineer and New Yorker sandwiches, and a pair of cookies (not pictured). The chili may not have looked the most appetizing, but the taste was pleasing with a little spice heat. The amount seemed small for a bowl portion. Both sandwiches tasted as expected and desired. I asked for double turkey on the Engineer which I got. The New Yorker had good flavor even with the regular portion of meat. I did find a small grisly piece in the New Yorker, but all in all I enjoyed what I received. Both cookies (sugar and oatmeal raisin) tasted fine too.
The total bill came to a few cents under $30 including tax which I did not think was too bad at all for value. I also like the connection Firehouse maintains with first responders. I could see myself satisfying a quick sandwich craving here among another place or two, especially if I wanted something fast before or after a movie at the nearby Regal Cinema.

At the Fairfax Towne Center location the customer service is always great! The food is fresh and tasty! They have some good iced tea and chili. Firehouse Subs is my go to sandwich sub choice.

I’ve been coming to this location for years now. The restaurant is always clean despite how busy they are, and do an amazing job getting food out fast despite each ticket being made-to-order. Mabel and her crew are the best. She’s obviously a great manager because she’s been able to keep her staff throughout the years. It’s nice visiting a restaurant with staff who care about their customers.

I’ve been going to this location for about 13 years every since it first opened and used to go weekly when I worked in the area. Just went back the other day after a year for my go to and basically the only reason I go here, the steak and cheese. It was delicious as always. I got a few other sandwiches for the family, ham and cheese, ham with bacon, and Italian. They all loved their sandwiches. No complaints from the kids. Always clean and very nice staff. The current staff have been there a very long time and know what they’re doing if you’re going during the work week for lunch. They are always busy, but don’t take too long. Great place in my opinion.

I must admit Mrs Mabel is a keeper!!! You need to keep her on your team. Very patient and kind hearted lady. Very rare in these times. I truly look forward to seeing you guys soon. I wish I had the time to visit more often. Keep up the good work folks!!!
