If you’re thinking about eating here, read this first.
I ordered one sandwich ahead of time, the app said it would be ready — it wasn’t. I still waited 35–40 minutes for a single order. If you’re hoping for a quick in-and-out meal, this could be a problem.

On top of the delay, the service wasn’t friendly. The petite woman with a short cropped haircut was rude and dismissive, and repeatedly used her cellphone under the counter while wearing gloves, then went right back to making sandwiches without changing them. If food safety matters to you, remember that detail.

I reported slow service here 9 months ago, and the owner replied saying improvements would be made. Speed was the issue then — and seeing the same delay today, now with added hygiene concerns and rude service, is disappointing. With other restaurants in the area already closing permanently, it’s not hard to imagine this one going the same way if nothing changes.

I gave them a second chance. They gave me the same problems — plus new ones.

Great food love it! However it doesn’t matter if u order ahead or inside because they are soooooooooooo slow. There are 7 people waiting right now and no take out orders are done. They have like 1 person for the register and one guy making sandwiches. They really need management to come experience what the customer does. Look up staple yourself to an order management. Easy fix for 5 stars, hire more employees.

Placed on online order. Waited until 10 min past pick up time to go in and they didn’t know I had an order placed. They then started to make it in front of me so I had to wait another 10+ min on top of my time which was ok.

My issue is that sub is basically bread. I order from the one on far Hills often and this is my first time ordering from this location. I’ve never had a sub this empty. This is supposed to be a cheesesteak sub, and it has barely any meat in it. Not to mention the extra items I ordered are also missing from my sub. This pic is after one bite and I only tasted bread so I opened it up to take a look. Very disappointing and annoying experience.

I placed an online order through the app. When it was finally delivered, after almost 45 min, I went to eat the potato soup 1st. As I went to stir it, I noticed there was only 3 tiny potatoes in the soup and the rest was the soup. I was very disappointed so I called the store & asked to speak to a manager. Once Sarah , the manager, got on the phone, I explained what i had ordered and what my issue was. She said she cant control how many potatoes are in the soup. I understand that, but when you order POTATO soup, there should actually be potatoes in it. She was very rude & argumentative and not once did she apologize and offer to replace/refund the soup. I had to suggest that the soup be refunded or replaced. Im not usually a person to complain but I have had numerous issues with this location w them forgetting things w my orders and after speaking with Sarah, her rudeness and how unprofessional she handled this issue, I was definitely not going to let this go unnoticed.

To the owner of this store, I suggest you find new management for this location because Sarah has absolutely no customer service ethic at all & is not a great representation for this store as a manager. I read the reviews before I wrote this one and am not surprised at all with the reviews I read.

Jersey Mikes, Penn Station, Jimmy John’s & even Subway is a better option than this Firehouse Subs location!

We ordered 4 medium subs from firehouse online. None of the subs were fresh no extra cheese, hard bread, hardly any meat at all. Hardly any mayo, just horrible subs. If it wasn’t freezing cold and in the middle of a project we would’ve of drove back up there and returned every single one. There was absolutely no excuse at all the subs should have went out the door.

Firehouse has a great back story and stands for community, or so it seems. Raising money for local firehouses is a plus in my book. The food is pretty good, most employees are kind and helpful. The music is a bit loud while trying to dine in, but overall not a bad atmosphere. Decent location.

The cons…..never enough employees to handle the volume of business from online orders, to dine to door dash or whatever. The employees seem over worked and under appreciated, Especially during the evening hours. Scheduling seems to be an issue. My last visit there seemed to be a few employees that were feeling poorly. The GM, sarah I think it is,.wasnt quiet about being in with a fever and vomiting. She seemed to rub it in other employees faces that werent feeling well. Sorry but while the public takes a risk eating out every day, to announce an illness and not care about the health of others is not ok. If you dont have enough employees as it is, have a high turn over rate, or dont even act like theyre anything but a way for you to bonus, then you are in the wrong job. One of the poorest general managers I’ve seen. Cant have a business without good employees. Cant have good employees if you dont have anyone looking out for them making them want to give their best.

Very disappointed. Take-out order was late, and incorrect – missing ingrediants, added ones we don’t like. . . The staff clearly was “behind” and our sandwiches were hastily made. Filled out satisfaction survey. Received a stock reply – told they will notify the team at the store. No attempt to do anything for the customer.
Update: Management did reach out after comments and offered to remake the sandwiches. This did not happen after my initial survey comments, but after complaining about receiving a stock reply. The sandwiches were made well, and I certainly appreciate the effort by management. I still prefer Jersey Mikes as well as Subway.

I was skeptical about ordering from here after reading the reviews and I should’ve listened. I just spent over $40 on three subs. One of them was a brisket and cheddar and it came with no cheese on it. My Italian sub had one sliver of onion, and a piece of tomato the size of a quarter. I have not eaten there in a while, and I can’t believe how expensive the subs have gotten. Definitely don’t waste your time or money. I’d recommend going to Jersey Mike’s or Penn Station.

We ordered 2 sandwiches and one was the wrong one, we went to get the correct sandwich and they told us it will take a minute… 30 minutes later still no sandwich. I went to ask if it was almost ready and they didn’t make the sandwich yet. The customer service is awful, while we were waiting they made 3 other customers orders incorrectly. Overall the store is incompetent

Ordered a medium Thanksgiving turkey sub with an extra pickle and gravy on the side for carryout. Picked it up and left but found out there was no pickle or gravy in the bag so went back and asked for the gravy at least since they charged extra for it. The young gentleman at the counter said they are out, but I don’t know why nobody told me when I was there the first time. He was offering me some soup to replace it when a young lady came out from the back and it seemed they were about to make some more gravy, but then she offered me a coupon for a free sub or a cookie or other item so I said I will opt for the coupon and thought I’d try it with gravy next time. She gave me a coupon for $2 off a large combo meal which I will never purchase. The food was ok, a bit cold by the time I got home after going back there, but rather disappointed in the service.
