My family stopped in on an afternoon and it was busy. We got our food fast and well made. My youngest daughter, while fooling around dropped her sandwich. We cleaned it up and in the middle of being busy and without us asking the crew made her a new sandwich and brought it out to her. Super great! Thanks guys.

The Firehouse Subs shop at Chinden and Ten Mile (In the Costco Parking lot) has really good subs. The staff and the whole “flow” seemed a little ‘off’ the last time we were there. They were kind of busy, but not slammed, but the staff seemed overwhelmed. I’m not suggesting they greet you with big smiles and a wave, but acknowledging you’re there might be nice.
I got the Italian sub, with the “less bread” option – which is a wonderful, unique option. It was fantastic. The seating situation has been spoken of, and it’s weird, true, but not really an issue for me. I can see how a family with small kids might find it not optimal.
Will definitely be going back.

Got the Beef and Cheddar brisket. Overall I give it a 10/10. I was a bit upset they didn’t have fries as it says they do online. But I guess it’s in another state I was told. I got exceptional food, great service and it was a good environment at the restaurant. The staff working around 715pm on Saturday were pleasant to be around, knowledgeable and in my opinion, they both desrve a raise.

Guy at the drive thru was great. But the sub was very small for a large sized sub. So either the subs have gotten smaller, or they didn’t give me a large sub that I paid for. Measured it when i got home and it was MAYBE 8 inches.

The food was good and the staff was very friendly, but the seating situation is a real problem. This location only has one regular-height table, marked with a handicap symbol, and all the rest are tall bar-style tables.
For seniors, people with back problems, or those recovering from surgeries, these tall tables are very difficult to use. My wife has had a double knee replacement and multiple back surgeries, and both of us struggle with seating like this. Because of that, we won’t be returning until more accessible, senior-friendly seating is available.
It’s disappointing, because the food and service were great — but everyone deserves to be able to sit and enjoy their meal comfortably.

So disappointed in the Thanksgiving sandwich. They barely put any cranberry sauce on it or turkey but plenty of stuffing. The employees made me feel like I was a bother. This was my 2nd time at the Chinden location and the 1st time it was delicious and employees were very nice. Not sure i will visit this location again.

Firehouse Subs always delivers quality. The sandwiches are stacked with fresh ingredients and toasted just right. I tried the Hook & Ladder and it was loaded with flavor—juicy meats, melty cheese, and perfect bread. Staff was friendly and took time to make sure everything was spot on. The restaurant was clean, and I love the firefighter theme—it gives the place a cool, welcoming vibe. Plus, they donate to first responders, which is a great bonus. Definitely a step above the average sandwich shop.

My husband and I just ate here for the 1st time at this location. It was Delicious!! Best Italian sandwhich ever! Customer service was great as well. Table situation was a little weird facing the walls or outside only but that’s OK. It was well worth it. Highly recommend!
