My experience with Firehouse is that all First Responders receive some sort of discount on their food. This has been a Firehouse policy and is even written in the Firehouse online information from those who started the company. This is supposed to apply to both retired and on duty personnel. Last night we went to the store on 9th Street in Broken Arrow and was amazed at the dirty condition of the store. We were the only customers and 5 employees plus the manager were just standing there talking. Tables not cleaned, items not stocked etc. At any rate, we love Firehouse food so my wife and I ordered anyway. I showed my badge that shows the department I worked for, the rank I was at when I retired (EMS Chief) and it has the words retired on the badge. I was told that this badge was probably fake and that since I was not in uniform and on duty the customary discount that Firehouse prides themselves on offering First Responders was denied. I am not one of those people who go around saying I demand my discount but when a company advertises that this is what they do for First Responders I would hope that they would do just that. I was made to feel like a liar and a scam artist and the cashier made a pretty big scene about it as others had walked in the store after us making me feel even worse for asking about it. Pretty sure I did not get my badge from the local gum machine but….. Not thinking we will be going back to that particular Firehouse again, not because of not receiving the discount but because of how I was made to feel for asking about it.

My wife needs a Gluten free diet. They offer a GF bun with the promise to use a specific cutting board. That purple board never moved all the time we were in the store, I watched it every second. I challenged who I assumed was the manager and she asked the girl who made the sub who sheepishly said that she did use the board. IN OTHER WORDS SHE LIED.
Also she did not get the cheese that was requested in fact got no cheese.
Never going back.

This store is the worst. VERY dirty and the food is moldy. I took a picture for the manager; a blond, very heavy and dirty woman who was so rude I was in awe. She actually waddled up to me, told me she hoped I died and threatened me. I called the police and I hope charges were filed. NEVER have I seen someone act like that. But I guess that explains the condition of the store and the rotten food. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Was my 1st time ordering there and hope the owner or manager takes the time to say thanks for this review just like they give thanks to the ones who give them 5 STARS…
And will be the last time customer service is so bad
My food was so bad as well I had to walk back in 3 times
My sandwich had nothing but lettuce
No cheese no tomatoes no vegetables at all when I order it with everything on it
Then they made it again they forgot the vegetables again.. I went back the 3rd time they forgot the pickle. He never asked me if I wanted a full combo I had to buy my chips and drink separately anothers extra charge. My daughter’s sandwich looked disgusting the way they prepared it they don’t even know how to prepare a sandwich
The last time my sandwich was made but he put some kind of radish sauce and it was very horrible taste. Please hired happy people with a good attitude and enthusiasm energy who are willing to give great customer service. And asked to use a different pair of gloves when they grab cash and make the sandwiches. I even rounded up my cash for first responders this is a shame for the store they are so dirty too. Wow

I have been here a couple times, pretty consistent with their sandwiches. The staff is friendly and they have a lot of folks working the sandwich line, which is nice vs somewhere like Subway where it’s only one employee making all the sandwiches. Every sandwich I’ve gotten here has been piping hot so that’s nice. Depending on what kind of sandwich ya fancy, place like Firehouse is in my rotation for hot sandwiches.

Excited about having a corned beef sub, but when I got the sandwich, the meat was so fatty that I decided to go back to the counter and ask if I could buy just a side of meat of some other kind of meat because it was so bad and I was told that I would have to pay for the sandwich minus the bread they would still charge me for a full sandwich. They also told me more than once that that’s just how corn beef is, but I explained to them that I’m from the East Coast and so I am very familiar with corned beef..
After taking one bite of bread, cheese, lettuce, and tomato sandwich I decided that it wasn’t right so I brought the sandwich back up to the counter and I asked very politely for a refund and I showed her this meat and the sandwich and the manager came over and told me that was my fault for ordering a cold sandwich instead of a hot sandwich because corn beef is always like that and that’s why they serve it hot and not cold and I told her if I knew that or if someone told me that I would’ve ordered something different But she refused to give me a refund or a different sandwich and said the only time that they refund is if they make a mistake not if customers are unhappy.
Well, in my opinion, she just made a really big mistake because I’ve never experienced such a complete lack of care or customer service in the restaurant industry and the other thing that they didn’t know is that I have worked in restaurants up to five star, dining and diamond restaurants and fast food and everything in between for almost 30 years so if they think they’re giving people good service, they’re sadly mistaken

Sorry, your sandwiches are kind of on the hi end….Bill and Ruth’s is a higher quality, and more reasonable sandwich. Go to Bill and Ruth’s, order whatever sandwich you like, I will pay for it……half your staff will be there (should tell them to remove their name tags prior to eating at a competitor)

Tried to get a sub different from Jersey Mike’s for once. Their website saved my sub as fully loaded, wanted something different so when I got my order it was wrong. Asked if they’d remake it. They said no because that’s the way their computer printed it. This is what I get from straying from Jersey Mike’s.

This place, has got to be the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been in. The lack of procedure, training, organization, customer focus is a reminder why AI and automation will replace this employee base. You walk in 5 people are standing in the back talking about how they can just move stuff back once the inspector leaves. Now if that doesn’t set the tone and culture for how this place operates then wait till they all come out like a bunch of cackling hens and laughing at the fact that the online order is still sitting in the printer and your order hasn’t started yet. If you don’t care and don’t mind waiting and encountering I don’t care kind of service this is the perfect place for you. I have been here multiple occasions and this is the only thing this establishment is consistent about.

Ordered a Ny Steamer. Bottom bun was over saturated in mayo, mustard and italian dressing, causing it to stick to the paper. Add ons made it onto the sandwich. No napkins and the pickle wasnt bagged. Other than that, praise the slicer for the thinly sliced meats and onions.
