I wanted to share my recent experience at Firehouse Subs (15475 Annapolis). I’ve been here a few times in the past, and while the food was always tasty, the service could sometimes be hit or miss.
I’m really happy to say that things have completely turned around! There’s a new manager and new team members now, and you can really feel the difference. The staff is so much friendlier, more attentive, and they really care about getting your order right.
On my last visit, my sub was made perfectly, the ingredients were fresh, and the new team made sure I had everything I needed. They checked in to see if my order was good, and the whole place felt more organized and welcoming.
It’s great to see how much better the customer service is now — it makes you want to come back! Everything is perfect, I love it.

As sub places fo, this Firehouse is the best Furehouse subs I’ve been to (and I travel all over the DMV).
New ownership! They’re a great team. It is always clean; my sandwich is neat (I hate a sloppy sandwich); they don’t cut corners–not on customer service or their product. It’s my go-to spot for a great sub. Definitely stop by. Again, new owners. I used to avoid this one and all the way to Woodmore. What do you know? That great team moved into this spot. So if you used to go to the Woodmore location and are sad it closed, come 6 mins up thw road to Bowie Market Place. 1547 Annapolis Rd. #170 You can’t miss it!. Enjoy!

The food is great and the staff is friendly, what more could you want? They are fast and efficient even when I’ve seen them busy. When ordering for pickup, the bread is never soggy and it’s still nice and warm. Absolutely recommend for a quality sub and good service!

EDIT – haven’t gone in 6 months until today. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious, whatever has changed had made me want to visit again. Complete transformation from my last visit.
I haven’t visited this location for months due to bad previous experiences but today I wanted to try the new Hot Ones sandwich and my wife a salad. After waiting 5 minutes past my pickup window one of the crew looked up and said my name, my order was ready. I asked for additional dressing for the salad, both crew members scurried to find a lid for the dressing. This took about 3 minutes when they noticed they were out of sauce lids. I then asked for the dressing to just go in a small bowl which they complied.
I thought all was well until I got home. The salad was supposed to be a Chicken Italian salad with peppers, salami and green peppers and pepper ranch dressing. Although I said no peppers. What I received was loads of peppers, no salami, no mozzarella and the wrong dressing. I have made a complaint through the app support on this interaction as this is again a bad experience at this location.

Ordered 1 sandwich online 1 hour before pickup and they told me I put it in for a different time when my receipt clearly shows pick up time would be ready 10 minutes after I ordered. I always have issues with this firehouse but no others.I make sure to try and go anywhere but here. Always problems.

I went to the establishment to ask about the Veterans Day meal. When I first got there, I waited a while before I was greeted. Once I was greeted, I was spoken to rudely and told that I need to do an online order and that there was a big order in front of me So I would have to wait. I was fine with that. It was the rudeness that gave me pause. When I tried to ask him how do I put in the online order for the Veterans Day meal? He cut me off rudely and told me it will be 30 minutes before he can get to me with a Veterans Day meal. It is very disheartening for anyone to deal with that love or rudeness, especially on Veterans Day.

Who ever was in the kitchen 12/23/25 before 5pm put alot of love making our subs taste like butter.we had the promotion deal buy one get the other half off all the subs were made with perfection.

So I recently visited firehouse subs and I was pleasantly surprised by the change in service and quality of the food. When I previously visited the chips were expired and the toaster wasn’t working, but it seems they are flourishing under the new management. My sandwich was perfect AND quickly, and the workers and managers are much more friendly. Overall this is my most enjoyable visit to firehouse subs and I WILL be returning very soon.
