The Firehouse is on the industrial side of the tracks in Nampa, on an ugly one of those quasi country roads that never seem to bend or end with the requisite gravel parking lot and stalls demarcated with boulders and chicks of leftover industrial concrete but don’t let that dissuade you from entering. Inside you will find an oasis of darts and pocket billiards and the space (only available in this kind of real estate) to enjoy it. The staff is country welcoming and inner city knowledgeable so don’t think this is some sawdust joint, it’s a real bar and a great place to unwind, compete against the locals, or work on your game. Barb the manager is super hospitable and made me feel like a regular within 5 minutes. As for equipment you couldn’t ask for better than the new soft tip dart machines with clearly marked oches or 7 foot diamond professional tables with competition felt. The booze is call and better IMO with reasonable prices (Baileys instead of Carolyn’s for example). Decor is made up of some cool firefighter gear and huge bench made of fire hoses. There are other arcade games as well as Internet jukebox. Excellent food can be had from the taco truck that parks outside 7 days a week. Pool tournaments every Friday at 7pm draw some good local talent. Covered smoking deck with horseshoe pits and propane heaters. Not what you’d expect from BFE Idaho… The staff is almost all female so my female companions were instantly comfortable. A great friendly unpretentious bar that I would highly recommend.

I hadn’t been in the firehouse in over a year but decided to stop in for a quick drink and watch some football tonight. As I walked to front door I saw a group smoking in front as I walking up looking at the door I hear “ill be in in a minute”. Wasn’t sure if it was directed towards me I kept walking. Then I hear “Oh ok you’re welcome” in rude voice! I realized she was talking to me i turned around and said oh ok sounds good. Go to the bar top wait another 5 minutes while the bar was packed she’s outside smoking! As im waiting I get a phone call as im on the phone the same lady from outside is behind the bar raising her voice at me “what do you want” I looked in disbelief trying to listen to my phone call as she stood there mumbling under her breath. I then hung up quickly to answer her as she’s shooting me a dirty look. Someone needs to let this lady know she’s in the service industry and to treet people with a little more respect than that.

My daughter flew in from Houston for the holidays. Her and her dad love to play pool together and do so whenever they can. This place is so warm and inviting, great music and affordable drinks. The bartender was so nice and great to visit with. No smoking inside, which is fine. We definitely will be back.

Use to come here every weekend until the old lady that worked hers started being rude. As long as you can come when she is not in shift this place is a 5 star.

Barb is the best bartender we’ve ever had!! She’s so much fun! Great drinks and she floats to each customer in a timely manner while continuing her exceptional service! Heather and Tiffany are amazing as well! Everyone who works here always has a great attitude and always does their best! Always so excited to come back to chat hours away… and i guess get a drink too

Go see Barb at Dave’s!!!! She’s the spitfire almost ALWAYS behind the bar top. Super funny and extremely attentive to all. Love that lady!! Makes the atmosphere that much more enjoyable when enjoying a tournament of pool or darts. Even if you are just drinking soda. ☺️

Bartenders are all wonderful, quick service, cheap prices and good drinks. Hands down one of my favorite bars in town. Plus there’s a taco truck on the side that has impeccable tacos and quesadillas.
