Had a great experience here! Service was fast and the food and drinks were delicious and very well presented. The cocktails went above and beyond. The menu showed pictures of the elaborate drinks next to their description and they lived up to the photos with over the top garnishes. I was happy that the margaritas also had a reasonable pour of tequila because sometimes if drinks are very aesthetic they can simply taste like sugar water. These did not and in fact were of decent strength. The birria street tacos were juicy, flavorful, and filling as well. Sadly, I do not live in the area or I would make this spot and regular!

Reliable Contemporary Mexican With Great Service

We’ve visited this El Asadero location several times now because it’s very convenient to our home, and it’s become a solid go-to when we’re craving Mexican food. The restaurant has a contemporary vibe with a large menu that includes some fun fusion-style items, although this visit we both stuck with more traditional dishes.

You start with chips and salsa, and their salsa is excellent—fresh, flavorful, and a great kickoff to the meal. I ordered a combo enchilada plate, and my husband had the pork burrito verde. Both dishes were very good, with the kitchen giving traditional items a slightly more modern slant that works well. We also shared a cheese chile relleno, which was fantastic.

Since it was Monday, they were running their medium margarita special for $6.99. Great value, and they add a little flair by bringing it out with a mini indoor sparkler (for lack of a better description). It’s a fun touch without being over the top.

Portions here run a bit on the smaller side compared to many Mexican restaurants, but with the chips and salsa, you still walk away satisfied. Service is consistently excellent—friendly, quick, and attentive. The restaurant is clean and well maintained.

If I have one minor critique, it’s that the ventilation feels a little underpowered. When all the windows are closed, you can really smell the grill when you walk in. It hasn’t lingered on our clothes, but it does give the dining room a slightly smoky feel. The lighting is also a bit bright for my personal taste, but that’s preference more than a problem.

Overall, El Asadero delivers solid food, good value, and a great experience. We come here regularly and will definitely keep coming back whenever the Mexican craving hits.

It was a rainy Saturday in March. My car broke down and I had to go through the struggle of towing and getting parts. Needless to say, I was tired and I was hungry.
I hopped onto Uber eats and saw they had a BoGo on Quesa Birria. I usually just get fast food when I go out as prices have gone up everywhere. But it seemed like a great deal.
Just ordered the quesas and nothing else. The delivery driver dropped off a HUGE bag. It had my order as well as the dipping sauces for the quesas, the beans and rice for both orders AND they gave me chips and salsa and creamy verde.

Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in YEARS! The barbacoa melts in your mouth and tastes like it’s been slow roasting all day. The presentation was fantastic, even for the styrofoam to-go boxes. Even the salsa was piquing my interest as I was eating it. The quality was amazing. I would not be surprised if they are processing their own tomatoes and peppers in house. The flavor was pristine.

All in all I would highly recommend. I would have been happy with just my order, but this really hit the spot! I hope to visit the restaurant in person when it warms up.

Upon entering we were immediately greeted & seated. The restaurant was very busy but clean. The decor is stunning. An entire wall has a mural painted on it. Our waiter was friendly & brought us chips & salsa while he took our drink order. We ordered chicken flatus & chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. While waiting for our food, they had a ballon artist going around making ballon animals. We watched many cool looking drinks being served. They had lights & smoke coming from it. Our food came out. The presentation was nice & the food was very tasty. The chicken for both dishes was fresh & seasoned perfectly. The rice had pickled onions on top. The waiter was attentive. The dancing robot didn’t come out while we were there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant & would return myself.

I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a lively vibe and some different menu options compared to more traditional Mexican restaurants in the area. The menu is several pages of different drink and food options. The food is good, but it is on the pricey side.
The big negative for us was the service. We hardly ever saw our server. Our fajitas were delivered with no tortilla shells. We asked the man who brought them for some, but there was an obvious language barrier. It was quite some time before the server ever came back to the table and by the time we actually got the tortilla shells, the fajitas were cold.

This was my third time dining here. The first time was dinner on a weekend and the restaurant(music) was so loud that we couldn’t even hold a table conversation. The second and third times I dined here were for a solo late lunch. Completely different experience. Music was at an enjoyable level. The food on both visits were delicious. They do have a lunch menu and daily lunch specials. Fajita taco salad on one visit and fajita burrito (without flour tortilla) today. Wait staff very friendly without making me feel rushed (as I was reading a book).

The presentation, service, and customer support was top notch! The drinks were spectacular, and the food was pretty good, too! Alba was very helpful, too! We each had 2 drinks, a dinner entree, and ordered the table-made guacamole!

I had been to previous locations of this restaurant not very successfully so I was skeptical. However they open this location close to my home and decide to try it. Good was great! I got the bone marrow tacos and my son birria tacos and we really enjoyed it! Plus Sergio was an amazing host and ensured everything went well. I will be back to check more menu items.

Great place! We sat at the bar to grab an appetizer and margaritas. Ordered 2 jumbo lime margaritas on the rocks and the cowboy dip. The service, margaritas, and food were all amazing. Might be our new favorite spot!
