Staying in Gettysburg while in from Europe and we’re looking for a place to grab a decent breakfast. The wife found Firehouse Grill on Google Maps and we headed out to find it. We initially drove past and missed it, then turned around to find it; doesn’t really stand out from all the normal stuff.

We were visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch. Tiny storefront was deceiving. It’s bigger inside than expected and it was very busy. We soon found out why. Good food, terrific service. Greeted immediately and once we ordered, food came fast. We will definitely eat here again, when in the area.

I like the staff they take care of you. Only have had breakfast here. It’s really good. Get in early to avoid a big line. They have tables, booths, and bar seating. Eating breakfast at the bar is pretty cool. Fresh OJ and coffee to go with your breakfast.

I’m confused on how people think this place is good. Maybe because in such a small town there are next to no options. It only gets a 2 because it was clean and the staff was friendly. But the food… um no. It was bland. How does ham not have any flavor? You can tell they go cheap cheap on the quality of their food but they charge you like it’s worth it and it not at all. The sausage was not good, the eggs weren’t good, the hashbrowns were soggy. Just all around tasteless. I’m sad if this is the “best” this town has to offer.
