We had an absolutely amazing experience at Firefly in Traverse City! From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food completely exceeded our expectations. We started with the steak sushi appetizer—so unique and packed with flavor. For our meals, we ordered the steak and the salmon, and both were cooked to perfection. Everything was beautifully plated and truly melted in your mouth. The flavors were fresh, balanced, and memorable. Easily a 10/10—highly recommend Firefly for anyone looking for incredible food and a great dining experience!

This ended up being our destination for lunch today because the three others that we checked out did not work for us. SO glad they didn’t! This was an excellent find! Great atmosphere and service. We ordered the potstickers and the steak skewers with sweet potato fries. Both were outstanding and a 9/10! There were so many other delicious looking options on the menu. If you are in the Traverse City area Firefly is an excellent option. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent service and great food. I haven’t had this good of service in a long time. Very polite and friendly waitress. I totally forgot her name but she did a wonderful job. The flank steak was kind of small but after two appetizers it was the perfect amount.

Honestly we loved this place. We liked all of our food but we really like the street corn dip, T-bone steak(special), shrimp tempura roll, and the wedge salad. The corn dip we would say is a must try. It came with a healthy amount of chips and dip and was great for the whole table. The t bone steak with a blue cheese and bacon butter was spectacular and was worth the up charge. We got the calamari which was okay it was covered in this spicy sauce which was good but it was too much. The steak udon was okay as well. It just wasnt as good as were hoping. If you are between this and something else I would go for something else. The staff was great and was quick to fill up water and drinks. Overall, we really enjoyed this restaurant and will be back.

The service was top notch. Little bit of a wait but that was to be expected considering the time of day we went for dinner Friday night. Great big chunks of chicken in our chicken noodle soup. They went out of their way to make sure my steak was cooked to my satisfaction. I greatly appreciate that. The garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were cooked to absolute perfection. My daughter enjoyed her sushi and appreciated the customizable of nothing spicy. I loved looking at the water from our table. My strawberry margarita was delicious as well.

The last couple times I’ve even here the food just isn’t as good as I remembered in the past 🙁 I got the lettuce wraps and the meat was so dry and barley had any sauce. Also the soda was super flat and watery I’m not sure what happened but seems the quality has gone down

Came here for Sushi because they advertise sushi pretty heavily, but they only had 6 sushi options on the menu. Ordered three rolls (crunchy shrimp, soy chino, and spicy tuna), some calamari, and their special of the day which was Ramen. None of their rolls had avocado. The soy chino was flavorless aside from the dollop of sauce on top, and the calamari was drenched in the sweet chili sauce. Every other place I’ve been to has the sauce on the side so you can choose how much sauce to dip the calamari in.

The ramen pork and egg were cooked very well, but the meat was way too fatty, and the broth tasted like beef broth from a can not like ramen broth.

The waitress also never refilled our waters

Trip up to Traverse City and stumbled upon this restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and an attentive and comedic waiter! Drinks were good and food was also good(calamari appetizer, salmon entree and girlfriend got steak udon). Only thing is that I do wish they tossed the stir-fry vegetables in some sort of sauce, they were just bland.

It’s an upscale bar, and beyond, with an array of food choices (perfectly cooked medium new york strip, Italian sandwich, beach burger, buffalo burger, truffle fries, and the best calamari we have ever eaten), top notch cocktails (new and old fashions, wildflower, and long island) and exceptional service!

I had the fish tacos and they were really good. My wife had the crispy chicken salad. She said it was all very good except the bacon wasn’t crispy and had quite a bit of fat.
Other than that, everything was very nice.
Great atmosphere and service.
