We had a great late lunch at Firebirds for our first time there. We ate on their outside patio. Inside the restaurant you can smell the scent of the wood fire although the AC was blasting! My corn was charred on my seared tuna superfoods salad. Our waiter was very polite and accommodating. When we come back to the area, we will return again!

Opened just two weeks ago in South Fayette, we noticed it when we saw the sign being put up on top of the building. Checked out the menu online and it looked like an all-American menu featuring steaks, chicken, and seafood with some dinner salads thrown in as well. Prices seemed a bit on the high end, but not too terribly high. At the end of the day, we decided to go and try it out with another couple.

Recently opened chain serving made from scratch meals. Has full bar and large seating area. Service was excellent. Highly recommend bacon covered deviled eggs as a sharable appetizer. Was very good! Lunch came with fresh baked bread. Enjoyed wood grilled salmon with parmesan mashed potatoes and vegetables. Friend had steak with au gratin potatoes. Steak wasn’t totally broiled to her liking but she was pleased anyway.

Salads were excellent. Ribs were good, bread came to table AFTER salads were eaten and plates gone. Could not taste the cheese in the Parmesan Mashed Potatoes. Staff nice.

Totally overpriced. Was so looking forward to the snapper. Not only is it very overdone and flavorless it’s literally black on the bottom. My daughter’ Mac n cheese has no cheese and tastes of fake smoke flavoring. Her steak is also over cooked and tough as leather. Huge waste of money.

Good lunch at the Firebirds Grill. The menu is the typical “pub fare” but they do a good job with it. I got a chicken sandwich that was tasty but a bit dry. The burger my friend got looked very good and he said it was done perfectly. I also got the tortilla soup and it was very good. The “Perfect Pair” for lunch is a good deal. All three of us got it, albeit with different combinations. Our server was very attentive. All-in-all a nice dining experience.
