We’ve tried to go to Fire Tacos before, but it was always packed, and now we know why! This time, we went at noon on a Sunday and got seated right away. From start to finish, the experience was incredible.
The food was amazing! Seriously the best tacos in Seattle! Every bite was flavorful and fresh. The portions were generous, and the drinks were just as impressive. Refreshing, vibrant, and so thoughtfully made. We couldn’t get over the attention to detail in everything… they even branded our limes!
The interior was fun, the vibe was lively, and the service was fantastic. If you’re looking for a unique, and memorable meal, this place is a must-visit. We can’t wait to go back!

I’ve tried their Pollo Quesadillas twice now and I’m honestly hooked! So fresh, super filling, and bursting with flavor — they absolutely nailed it. The vibe is unbeatable too, perfect beachside location with great music that just lifts your mood.
Also, don’t miss the Mango Margarita — it was the perfect hit. Highly recommend!

We recently visited this place, and it was a fantastic experience! Biggest highlights for me was that the restaurant is halal, which made it an easy choice for our meal.
Only there chicken, lamb and goat options are halal (something to keep in mind)
Tacos were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, with juicy and flavorful chicken in every bite. My toddler had the chicken and cheese quesadilla, which was generously portioned and packed with plenty of meat.
Beyond the food, the service was excellent. Our server Salvador was incredibly warm, knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions about the menu and the restaurant itself.
Overall, this is a great spot for tasty halal Mexican food with great service. Definitely be coming back!

“The experience was excellent from the moment we arrived… Located in Alki, Beach, WA, FIRE TACOS & CANTINA offers a welcoming atmosphere and first-class service. I was able to visit recently and want to recognize the attention of the owners, Erika and Jorge, who presented us with a unique food experience with a homemade flavor, presentation, and variety that speaks volumes to their cultural roots and Mexican traditions. I also want to recognize the attentiveness of one of their team members, “Chava,” who offered us prompt, friendly service with attention to detail. The atmosphere, decor, music, and drinks are a plus that completes the experience.
One dish I 100% recommend is anything related to “Birria,” although the variety is much broader. “I will definitely return.”
“I recommend it for dinners with couples and families on any occasion.”

I can’t say enough about the food at Fire Tacos. While I “always” order their award winning Chile Verde Wet Burrito, with Mango Cart beer, their whole menu is amazing. The chile verde pork is so good, my wife, who primarily orders vegetarian, goes for all their variations, quesadillas being her favorite.
This weekend is Valentine’s Day, and while I am not with my beloved, George and Erika shared a sample of their new menu items, chilaquiles (heart shaped for the holiday) – both chili verde and chipotle. The other item was a stack of tres leches pancakes, with fruit. While all were delicious, I liked the chipotle chilaquiles the best. Good enough to make me consider mixing up my wet burrito with salsa macha in the future.
So, we just came back from Playa del Carmen Mexico, where we hoped to have some over the top Mexican food. While breakfast was great it wasn’t enough to outshine Fire Tacos. A waiter at one restaurant summed it up well. Everyone in Mexico makes good food, but the best of the best succeed in the US. That is Fire Tacos. The best of the best. I rarely give 5 stars, but Fire Tacos e arnés every one!

Simply a FANTASTIC experience, start to finish. My wife and I decided to try this place out Wednesday night before Thanksgiving (while visiting my family in Seattle), and we were warmly welcomed by the staff the moment we walked in. Our server Karen was EXTREMELY attentive and upbeat, checking on us repeatedly (without being intrusive) to make sure we had everything we wanted. And the food was DELICIOUS. I had the “Wet Burrito” which was packed with flavor (the sauce is excellent) and a good (although not overwhelming) level of heat (might be too spicey for those with low heat tolerance). My wife had the Chicken Bowl, which though it included the “standard” ingredients of beans, rice, sour cream, etc., was amazing. I tried some of the chicken, and it was PERFECTLY cooked – juicy and flavorful rather than dry and overcooked (which often is the case at restaurants; especially with “bowls”). At the end of our meal, we told Karen it was our first visit, and she actually apologized (!) and said, “If I had known, I would have given you a lot more help in deciding what to order!” This, after her A++ service throughout! Talk about kindness, helpfulness, and humility! 🙂 So yeah, a delightful, completely satisfying restaurant experience, all the way around. We look forward to eating here again, during our next visit! NOTE: THIS REVIEW WAS WRITTEN BY AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING WHO ATE DINNER HERE ON NOVEMBER 26TH, 2025, AND NOT AN AI BOT. So whatever algorithm you’re using, Google, to “review” reviews, DO NOT DELETE THIS ONE (as you have some of my others – until I appealed and had them reposted!!!).

Best birria tacos around the area. The other tacos were okay, a little dry. Churros cart was great though. The establishment vibe is very welcoming. Definitely busy, specially now in the spring and summer time, but the wait was not long. Food comes out quick. Customer service was good.

For visitors to Seattle: this restaurant on a weekend took 1 hour to reach from downtown city to Alki beach with public transit. For us who took public transit, the area of Alki Beach was certainly more worth it than the restaurant itself.
While the service was respectful and the food options were expansive, the food was moderate and wasn’t as incredible as the reviews could foresee. Certainly it’s dependent on each person but for us it was acceptable but not overwhelming. Perhaps we wouldn’t have traveled that long of a time for it.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant for those with cars who can easily travel and have the time but for shorter trips and public transit, might not be best stop to make unless you’re interested in Alki Beach that surrounds Fire Tacos which the Beach is phenomenal!
Food was alright and possibly not justified by the prices, service was respectable, and location was great. Will likely not consider Fire Tacos in a future visit but for those who are close by certainly an option.

Found Fire Tacos on TikTok and loved the fun, hip vibe they portray. We visited on a sunny Sunday, so I understand they were very busy, but we waited about 10 minutes at the entrance without any greeting or acknowledgment, even as staff walked past us. A simple “we’ll be right with you” would have helped.
Once seated, our server was kind, but our order was incorrect twice—once with drinks and once with food. When the food arrived, it was cold (the beans tasted like they had been sitting out), and we were never checked on, so we didn’t have a chance to say anything.
The flavors and sauce selection were good, which makes me think this may have been an off day. This was a birthday lunch, so it was disappointing overall. We live far and weekends are the only time we can come, so consistency during busy times really matters at this price point.

Delicious food. The ambiance was nice and our waitress was amazing. The adobo tacos are not joke. They are deliciously spicy!
