Ate lunch here today with my mom and i was very impressed. We both had the lunch special which was chicken and shrimp hibachi with rice, noodles and vegetables. It was better than any other hibachi restaurant I’ve had in bigger cities. Hopefully this place continues to get the support it needs to stick around because it was very tasty. Will give the sushi a try next time we come! And I’m not sure on what the other reviews talking about portion size…. Ours was more than enough and very filling.

The food was good. I don’t like that you don’t have specific options when it comes to the food , such as picking certain vegetables because I don’t eat all vegetables. I also would like to have eggs in my hibachi fried rice. I feel like the portion sizes of meat and rice could be better. Overall , the food had a very good taste and the sauce given , put the cherry on top. If they could change their menu to include specific vegetable options and increase their portion size of meat and rice , I would have given 5 stars.

We ordered take out hibachi and gyoza. The customer service was fantastic, very friendly. The building was well decorated and nice. The food was a little mid because of a few hiccups and the portions were a little underwhelming. Our rice was a little clumpy and our steak was well-done when we ordered rare. However, the vegetables were super tasty (frankly they were my favorite part of the meal). The gyoza was delicious. They were super busy and they only opened recently so there are bound to be a few kinks to work out. All in all, I don’t regret the experience and we’ll happily be giving this place another go soon. Will update review as we go. Excited for something new in town 🙂

Ordered a to go order. Food was really good in flavor and the amount of food on my hibachi order was great for me and my mother in law to share, the rest was for everyone to share. I ordered the Chicken Hibachi with double rice, Gyoza, Eupora Sushi Roll and the Crunchy Crab Roll I believe it’s what it’s called. The flavor was excellent. The sushi could have been cut more evenly and I would have loved a little bit more veggies on my hibachi order but other than that I absolutely enjoyed it. Thank you for bringing something different to our town.

I’ve gotten food here maybe about 7 times here since the place first opened and I thought after a while that things would change up, but the result is always the same. The people there are nice and the place looks pretty cool even if it’s a bit on the small side, but the main issue is the food. I’ll usually get either noodles or rice both with shrimp and every time I’ve gotten it it’s been burnt. The one time it wasn’t it didn’t really have much taste and most of the time I’ll run into shrimp that still had the tails on or a couple of eggshells. I think the cooks might just be cooking in a hurry and don’t notice maybe. The sushi isn’t too much to talk about either, I know the place is still new technically but it shouldn’t stay this way

Edit: If your restaurant is able to fit up to 50 people personally I would not say comfortably. The times I made an order and came to pick it up I would say were usually after lunch or before closing. I never brought my issues with the food because I figured it would be a one or two time thing, I understand mistakes, but it was a repetitive case that shouldn’t be happening all the time. I do thank you for the invitation to visit the restaurant and discuss these issues more with you, but my review will have to suffice sadly, I don’t live in the area and am a very busy person. I’m sure if you take into account these reviews then I’ll be nothing but looking forward to my next visit when I am able.

Its beautiful, the workers are friendly, but the food isn’t the best. I had the hibachi steak and shrimp. Steak was decent, they forgot my shrimp at first, shrimp was bland, noodles were also bland, and the rice was not good. I also think they are using sushi rice for the stir fry rice, either that or the rice was overcooked as it was sticky and there were chunks that were clumped together and seemed like they had mush holding them together. Price is not worth the food. Maybe its just because they are new and haven’t gotten into the swing of things. I will try it again in a few months to see if things have improved. Didn’t get a chance to try the sushi yet.

Apparently Fire&Rice in Eupora rather serve their white customers before their black. I placed a to go order, went to pick up, stood right in front of the cash register for 10 minutes. Who I’m assuming was the owner was standing right in front of me taking an order over the phone. I figured once she got off the phone she would greet me and then service me but No! She hung up the phone, continued to ignore me standing there then a group of white women come in and the 2 women behind the cash register RUSH to serve them! Acted like they didn’t see me standing there at all! I’d rather continue to give my money to OEC in Starkville. At least they go by order. It’s 2026 at some point this needs to stop!! After making a post on Facebook it doesn’t surprise me that MANY others who are also black have shared the same experiences. If they only want to serve white people they might as well put a “No Coloreds Allowed” sign on their front door! It’s sad and disgusting and the disrespect was so blatant! I will NEVER set foot in that establishment again!

In response to your false statement it was IN FACT longer than 3 minutes that I waited without a greeting or anything while she was on the call. Which greeting a customer is apart of basic customer service. They did rush to tend to the customers who walked in after still not even acknowledging my presence which once again is apart of BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! To use the word “bashing” in response to someone stating their experience in your establishment is far fetched and shows you being defensive when what I wrote is EXACTLY what happened. When multiple people are saying they have experienced the same thing there’s some truth in it somewhere. Instead of taking offense and continuing to use the fact that you guys are new as an excuse perhaps gather your crew and train them in proper customer skills and to treat all people with respect no matter the color of their skin.
