Fire N Ice food stand located in the heart of Abiquiu offering delicious smoked brisket, bbq sandwiches, hot sandwiches, pizza slices, vegan/vegetarian items, soft-serve ice cream, cold brew coffee, shakes, smoothies, creative sundaes. We wood-smoke brisket and pork and vegetables for our sandwiches and tacos. We have plenty of parking, outdoor seating, awesome staff, and great prices!

Ordered pizza for the family. It was great and hot when we got there to pick it up. Something to note: the pizza takes about 15 min each, so keep that in mind if you are ordering more than 2. They prefer texts when you order. Which can make the process a bit confusing if you’re not clear with your order and respond to any questions they have. Be aware of the hours they are open as they can change throughout the year and around holidays

We stopped here after the Georgia Okeefe home tour and it the food was a great and yummy surprise. I had the brisket tacos and the husband had what he said was the best veggie burger he’d ever had. And we got to pet some local dog friends, so pretty much perfect.

I had the brisket burger, and it was excellent. Usually when you see a brioche bun, you can expect a nice burger. That was the case this time too. Have to come back and try a few more options. There are 4 or 5 picnic tables available next to the serving window, but no restrooms except in the gas station. The gas station is worth a look anyway for the sheer range of goods they sell.

Such good food. We had a BBQ sandwich and the steak hoagie. Very good food. We did walk to the store beside it to get a drink (the store has coke in a glass bottle). Nice fun experience

First visit. Had the brisket baked potato. Was disappointed that they add black beans and corn. Maybe that’s in the description and I didn’t read far enough. Might be my fault for ordering without doing due diligence. At any rate, not my cup of tea. I also had something called the Luscious Lemon Lipsmacker… It was rather small but a delicious surprise. I tasted raspberries, cream cheese, vanilla ice cream, Graham cracker, lemon custard and a couple other flavors I couldn’t easily identify. It was very rich, tart and tasty. I plan to try again but next time I’ll know what I’m ordering…..
Update: We did return and were impressed by both quality and quantity of menu items. And, taking time to read the descriptions carefully, greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the selections I made. I sincerely hope our travels bring us back this way again. We both want to sample more of the deliciousness this place has to offer.

The breakfast sandwiches here are incredible, perfect to fill us up for a long day of driving. The staff were so sweet and were wise to recommend the chile breakfast potatoes on the menu that day, which were out-of-this-world good. They’ve also got a nice spot with picnic tables to sit and enjoy if you’re not in a hurry!
