I’ve been here a few times now but waited to make a review until after tonight’s visit. First visit was awesome. The pulled pork nachos were some of the best I’ve ever had. My son loved the smoked turkey and the Mac n cheese was outstanding as well. 2nd time I came here the BBQ side was sold out of about 90% of their items and it was just after 6pm. The staff behind the counter were great at finding ways to accommodate, but still frustrating when coming in for dinner. Third time was tonight and the bbq side was not even open. No notice to guests that no bbq would be served tonight. The community as a whole is looking forward to having a bbq place and 2/3 times I’ve been it’s been mediocre or non existent. This is sad as the food is so good and they could do very well. On the other hand the wings on the tavern menu are always crispy and delicious and the selection of drafts is always spot on. Service is consistently excellent. Overall vibe is very welcoming and laid back. Will be back, just hope the bbq side will be open to serve us guests next time.

Hubby got the brusque burger. I got the smoked turkey sandwich. I am hard to please when it comes to BBQ. This place was AMAZING. Forgot a before picture I ate it too fast definitely coming again!

Our party of 4 decided to try this new Restaurant in Glens falls, specializing smoked meats. I had the turkey and it was so flavorful and tender! My husband and our friend had the BBQ brisket sandwiches and fries. I tasted the brisket and it melts in your mouth delicious. You can tell they use the best ingredients; my husband never tasted better baked beans. 3 of us had one drink and 2 of us had desserts. My peach cheesecake was incredible.
We were a bit surprised by the bill because it came to over $50 dollars a person for total of $248; however we enjoyed the food, and had one drink each and 2 desserts among 4 of us. The owner and our waitress were very nice.
The only drawback was They didn’t serve coffee and that was disappointing, and the door caused coldness. The blonde cashier in the back, where meat was prepared, had an attitude twice while members of our party of 4 asked basic questions.

Food was very good. We’ve had barbecue around the country and the brisket was up there with some of the best we have had. Cornbread was solid and the chili was good too.

I looked at the menu online first and called to place an order. Only to be told that the menu online is no longer correct. So I go to the restaurant to look at the menu. The bartender Kayla was extremely helpful and very patient and very friendly. She handed me the menu and explained that one side of the menu can be ordered at your table while the other side you go up to the BBq side and order yourself. Very confusing. I didn’t like this at all. If i was actually going there to sit down and have a meal, i would have been more upset that i had to go up and order myself and pay right there and then go to the table to eat. And honestly the food was ok.

People were great tge food was so base and they don’t even have a full menu throughout the week. So kinda bs advertisement. I eat a lot of burgers it was one of the worst ones I’ve ever had. People were awesome to me and my son tho.

Definitely the place to go for great bbq, brisket and ribs! Craft beers. Veteran owned and operated. One of the best things to happen to Glens Falls. They do fantastic catering as well!

If you’re looking for some great food in the area this is your place! The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great! The tavern Menu is fairly priced with some great options. Where the issue lies is on the smoked meat side. Everything I’ve tried was absolutely delicious but the prices are insane! 16 dollars for a medium cup of Mac and cheese is outrageous. Large is 22! A beef rib is sold by a single rib. But yet priced out per the half pound. One beef rib will cost you 54 dollars if it weighs 1.5 pounds! The price by weight makes sense for normal bbq (pulled pork, brisket, turkey etc.) but not for other items like the beef rib or pork ribs. I know the folks are trying hard but prices are just too high on some items. Oh and make sure you go before 6 or they are 90% sold out of everything on the smoked meats side! Love the idea and just hope it gets better with time.
