My time here was just one word, excellent.
Since this is a review however i need to add a little more detail.
This is a nice calm quiet restaurant good for families to dine in all there food is super fresh, and most of all delicious.
There is just so much to say about this place it has a nice very American home theme of fire fighters and pub food anything from: ribs, to burgers, salads, chicken fingers.
The variety of sauces for wings and just dips is amazing wanting me to come back and try more of my favorite food with a good selection to keep me happy every time i visit the staff is very friendly and loves to make there customers happy they even gave me a wet wipe for the hot honey sauce which i definitely reccomend.
Overall great place to eat! 5/5

The food was pretty good for the price. The chocolate chip pie was good. I wish I would have gotten it warmed up though. The sweet tea was great!

Great Barbecue sandwich. Super nice personal. The young lady who took our order actually listened to us and the owner lady stopped by to deliver more drinks after we finished eating. Nice to see that customers matter to some restaurants. Place felt comfortable and clean.

Best pulled chicken I’ve ever had, was very flavorful and juicy! My family liked everything that we ordered, the fries had some special seasoning that made them so tasteful!! Great customer service as well, which is very hard to come by these days. I’m from Louisville, but will make the drive for their bbq!!

Great food! Loved the downtown location and came to this one because we had a cashbook coupon. Management refuses to accept coupons currently and has no idea when they will choose to honor them again. While the food is great, we will not be driving over 30 minutes to eat here again.

We love coming here. The food is good. Tonight we ordered takeout and my fiancé ordered the regular brisket dinner plate. There was hardly any brisket and it came as a sandwich which we found odd. We love the food but the portion should be as described on the menu; I would hate to see what the Rookie portion looked like.

The young lady taking our order kept turning around and talking to people behind her while we was ordering. We had to tell her our order four times. Halfway through ringing us up she walked away and some other lady came to finish our order. The prices we paid were way too high for the amount and quality of food we received. We have visited this establishment many times over the years and like to support small business but this will be our last visit for the foreseeable future.

As a person with over 42 years of food service experience, I highly recommend this place. The service was very good, the prices were reasonable & the BBQ was some of the best that I didn’t cook myself. The hardest part of the meal was to stop eating long enough to take a picture of it. I had the Brisket with Fries & Baked Beans. My teammate had the Chicken with the same sides and loved his also. I can’t, unfortunately, figure out how to add my picture. Darn it! I knew I should have kept on eating
