This was my first time here. I was shopping for a quality meal prep service, and they did not disappoint. Dunya (store associate) assisted me in choosing my meal options. She explained each detail by detail. Everything is made fresh & with no seed oil. The meal in my pic below is Beirut Dangerous (lamb, rice, spices & other healthy ingredients) is absolutely delicious. You can taste the freshness. Whether you are local or visiting, give them a try.

The Fire Dept meals are outstanding! The ingredients are the VERY BEST natural ingredients available and the flavors of their many, many entrees are GREAT! We were introduced to these by my son and now eat them regularly. They ship nationwide and have a free shipping option based on the amount you order. Their subscription plans are well-worth the cost and the savings are phenomenal. Your senior parents, your kids away at college and those very active family members at home will enjoy their meals again. You never, ever have to worry about what they are eating, is it healthy, and what’s for supper? They and YOU will love them!!! I Very Highly recommend these fully prepared meals.

Great lunch today at Fire Dept. Meals! The Chicago Style hot dog and fries are on point! We have been using them for about 2 months for their meals to go service and are great! We have not had one bad meal to date! The weekly menu is released Tuesdays so it’s wise to get them early in the week in the event they sell out. While having our lunch on the patio we overheard other guests express how much they were enjoying their meals. I’ve been told the coffee is really good but have not had it as of this post. Robert and Dunya are always super friendly and helpful. Service men/women and first responders receive add’l discounts. Great to have them here in Oviedo!

I placed an order for a meal plan and was excited to try out their food. However, there was a significant increase in the following week’s order price and I realized the cost is not feasible for me. I sent FireDeptMeals an email kindly requesting for my subscription to be cancelled and specifically stating that I do not want my current order cancelled (as I needed my food for the week ahead and it was a day from being shipped out). I kindly informed them that I cannot afford the cost of the meal plan moving forward, sadly. Their response was, word for word: “Living in [my city], [we] know you pay more than that when you eat out or even if you make it at home”. A very condescending and arrogant response to my situation.
After about 15 minutes (I didn’t even have a chance to respond), I received another email in which they informed me that they have taken it upon themselves to cancel my current order and that they won’t ship out my food when I had specifically asked them kindly not to do that. I replied to this by respectfully reiterating that I do NOT want that order cancelled, and they never responded afterwards.
It seems they were quite upset by my inability to afford the meal plan; so much so that they made baseless assumptions of my spending habits and wouldn’t even ship out my food. It is really disappointing when a promising company has such poor customer service and a disrespectful attitude. This can be a huge deterrent for people willing to support their business. I had high hopes, but am now glad that I won’t be doing business with them.

Heat-and-eat meals to go, but you can also order at the counter, get it heated up there, get a bottled drink, and sit out on the shaded patio to enjoy. It runs about $15 for a meal-portion boxed entree, so not exactly “fast food” range, but the food is GOOD, and the menu selection changes up every week. They have several special dietary options available and clearly marked (vegetarian, vegan, fitness). Located in the pedestrian-friendly “Oviedo on the Park” area. Very friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and great food!

By a stroke of luck, we stumbled upon this firehouse-style meal prep restaurant entirely by mistake. And what a fortunate mistake it turned out to be! The moment we sank our teeth into the juicy 7 oz burger, we knew we had discovered something truly special. The flavors danced on our tongues, leaving us in awe of the culinary craftsmanship. The sweet potato fries, crispy and perfectly seasoned, were an unexpected delight. Despite finding this place by chance, it was a mistake that we wholeheartedly embraced, as it led us to a hidden gem of delectable proportions.

My hubs and I are very experienced with meal delivery services at this point. Each of us owns our own biz and we have a 3 year old and another on the way. Plenty of meal services out there will save you Time. A few of them will save you Money. Almost NONE of them do both while also providing truly great nutrition AND amazing flavor EVERY SINGLE MEAL. My first profession was as a dietitian, so, believe me, I’m the pickiest when it comes to healthy eating AND I’m Pakistani and need delicious food. Plus, these guys have the best sense of humor and are generally all around great humans. We love this company and we are very confident and comfortable letting them be our postpartum plan for regular meals at our house. THANK YOU FIRE DEPT MEALS!!!

This is the best breakfast sandwich place in the the area! The bagels are just like NY. Soft and chewy! The best! There prep meals are amazing as well! The deliver anywhere. Robert, the owner is a great guy looking to make sure your happy with your experience here. Go check this place out. You will be happy you did. Its definitely one of my favorite places to go!

After getting covid a few years ago, eating has been a huge struggle. I don’t crave food and I can go hungry without noticing. I was enticed by the good ingredients so I gave them a try. I cried and thanked God after I ate my first meal, Turkey and lentil stew. Then, I ate another one, Mediterranean pasta. I haven’t eaten like that in years. Over my life time I have been through about 10 pre-made meal companies. This company is the best. Of course hiccups happen, rest assured their customer service is as good as the food.
