This is my kid’s favorite ‘fancy’ place, so if it’s not hibachi, we’re here often; but don’t let that fool your tastebuds. Quite possibly the best calamari this area has to offer (more than just breaded and fried, it’s a nice shareable dish with roasted plum tomatoes, spinach, shaved parmesan, balsamic reduction and optional garlic aioli) and dare-I-say the ICONIC Orange Cognac salad.
We did the Italian four course chef’s dinner in February and rented an igloo for a friend’s daughter’s birthday earlier in the month. Both meals were excellent and we were able to order a variety of things to try since the chef’s dinner offered some of their staple cocktails to pair, and the kiddos are pretty adventurous along their food journey.
Oh, great and friendly service as well; you can really settle in and get comfy here!
Our server Maja is the epitome of Hospitality. Her passion for the industry runs deep. Her infectious smile & fun vibe would make an old sneaker taste good!
Every dish she described in the menu presentation had us drooling.
The portions are generous & affordable. The orange cognac salad w Blackened Salmon was so tasty/healthy. That smoked pork chop is a real taste explosion….to die for!
Now let’s talk dog friendliness! Maja saw on our reservation that I was bringing my pup Cairo & set up a nice bowl of water & had lil dog treats waiting at our table upon arrival!!!
We were over the moon about our experience. Maja’s professionalism created a fond memory of my visit that will last a lifetime. Thank You! ❤️☮️ ⚜️

The butternut squash soup was amazing.
Their bread and butter was to die for I ate the whole basket.
The drinks were quality and strong.
I did NOT love my pork chop it was hard to cut and eat.
However, I tried a lot of my man’s steak and his New York Strip was to die for.
The ambience isn’t anything special but it’s a really nice place with good food and drinks and worth the try!
UPDATE: 2/14/2025 Valentine’s Day. Drove 90 minutes to get here. Staying a the nearby Beaumont Inn. The menu and pricing were on point. Service was awesome, as usual. The Virginia Oysters on the half shell were incredible.
Food got rained on and was bland (we were seated in an igloo). The lobster in the lobster Mac and cheese was also gritty.
We expected a lot more given the price point. Will stick to Kevin’s Bar and Grill in the future.
Our waitress was pleasant and attentive.
The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable.
Overall we had a good time here. We might return.
