Upstairs in the off season rocks if you want to be able to talk. I love Wednesdays oyster specials. Great cocktails and best service. If you want to do the specials join the points club too. I slam at least 2 dozen Chesapeake oysters a week! Lol! The oyster stew is awesome. We dip our fries in it! Definitely recommend!

Sat at a dirty table and asked them to wipe clean before setting our drinks and food. They sent a kid over with a bottle of plain windex to clean the table. I asked him to use something to sanitze as our food will be on it, he never came back but our waitress came with a rag wet with God knows what and wiped the table. So, we proceeded so they didnt spit in our food, lol. We went for fish and to our surprise, it was half price fresh fish meals that day! Yay! As an appetizer we ordered the crispy brussels, topped with goat cheese, almond and a balsamic drizzle. OMG, they were so delicious and a big portion! They also ordered half a dozen oysters, while I dont eat them, I was told the were really good!
So, there was a choice of at least 6 or more different fish choices. You also choose how you would like it cooked. Then they have about 10 different sauces, you can choose as many as you like, even doubles if you choose to. The sauces all come on the side in a small little cup. I ordered Grouper (2 smaller but still decent size filets) grilled with a pineapple mango salsa which did not disappoint! You choose your 2 sides, which i ordered the asparagus and a delicious parmesan risotto. The other dish ordered was Rockfish (1 decenct size filet) which they choose to have it broiled with the pineapple mango salsa also, the parm risotto too, but opted for a side salad which came as a smaller size of their house salad which looked delish also. We both agreed the Grouper was the winner of the 2. Overall, it was a really nice dinner for 2 with 2 appetizers, I had water with lemon and they had a couple of beers for $6, I think the total for the bill was around $ 76.00. (No tax in DE) and of course a nice tip. Waitress was delightful, attentive while still busy and we left happy with our belly full and satisfied! The pic is the Grouper.

We came in for happy hour and were seated right away. 1/2 dozen happy hour oysters are $11 and they tasted fresh and clean. Calamari and lobster roll were also good.

There is outdoor seating and two levels inside. The service was friendly and quick. The food was tasty and the kids menu is very reasonable.

Seasonal drink Dracula’s Drip was sweet and came with vampire teeth! Strawberry shortcake was a nice size, we shared it. Cake was light & moist, and the icing was a whipped surprise. Yum!

Weekend getaway went awry, dead car, tow truck, don’t ask. Silver lining, we stopped into this spot while we waited. Kristen couldn’t have been nicer and the food and drinks were awesome. Has the lobster bisque, clams casino, mussels and calamari apps. Thanks for making a crappy day brighter.

By far one of the best crab cakes I’ve had in a really long time. Honestly, everything we tried on the menu was great. From the sides karma to the main dish to even the bread basket. The service was also pretty exceptional. Very attentive but not overly attentive. Definitely recommend this place and we’ll be back for sure.

$$. A casual yet slightly upscale fish and oyster oriented restaurant. I would recommend for those looking for something above a crab house but below fine dining. Family oriented, not feel loud and lighting was moderate. I must say that each time I’ve visited Fins I have always left surprised from the quality, presentation, consistency and value. While they have a decent and diverse sized menu with price and options variety can still be hard for picky eaters. A worth while spot for that calm night out on the avenue.
Pro tip try the Fins Pasta and if a beer drinker try their Fins branded Big Oyster beers.

Dinner is always great at Fins. The wait staff is extraordinary. They are friendly and get along well with each other which makes for a pleasant atmosphere. We eat there once a week. It’s our favorite place. I love the house salad, seafood stuffed grouper and my white zinfandel wine. My husband loves their beet salad, salmon BLT, and beer selection. The reduced price fish board on Sundays off-season is a real bargain. I do wish they would add chocolate cake with chocolate icing to their menu. If you go on a discount night, please tip on the bill before the discount. The staff works hard. They shouldn’t get discounted tips on Sundays.

Me and my wife came here for our first time on Valentine’s Day. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was Penny. She was very attentive and friendly. We wanted to have draft beer so she let me sample a couple to make a decision. I picked a hoppy beer named Hammerhead. My wife picked a lighter beer called Beach Traffic. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. When it came she asked if we wanted to take our time or if we were in a hurry so she would know when to put the entrees into the kitchen. That has never been asked of me or us ever. My wife ordered the crab cake dinner that came with 2 amazing sides of your choice. She picked risotto and asparagus. I picked the paella. When I say this is the best seafood entree I have ever had I am not kidding. It was so flavorful. The portion you get is huge. I am a big eater and had trouble finishing. Needless to say we were stuffed and could not order a dessert. We are new to the area and are trying out restaurants. We will definitely be back to this one.
