Two thumbs way up! Actually, 16 because 8 of us dined there this evening. EVERYTHING was great. For apps, the crab ragoons, shrimp dip, and bang bang chicken were so yummy. Dinner dishes we all loved were the blackened walleye, blackened scallops, half chicken, pork chop, and the lobster mash. Our favorite was the mashed potatoes, which everyone enjoyed. OMG. So delicious. We joked that next time we come we’ll ask for a large bowl to eat as a dip. The service we received from Morgan and the drinks were great too.

Anniversary dinner at Finn’s, that just opened 8n September of this year! The food was a cut above the average fare, and service was impeccable. There are no dining experiences of this caliber for 30 or more miles, so I’m spreading the word! The surroundings are new; crisp and tastefully minimalist. In season, I imagine the outdoor seating overlooking the lake are quite nice, however it was a bit chilly for us. Recommend!

Stopped for a few apps and . Wow. The makeover here is beautiful. Menu is refreshing and has Prime Rib every day.
We had the Chicken Meatballs and Herk Wings. Absolutely delish! We waited to check it out until they had time to work out the opening jitters. Nichole was our bartender/server and was fun to talk to.
Definitely can’t wait to go back. Only drawback is being closed Sunday. A locals we’d love to see it open on Sunday amd closed another day. So happy to have Fins open!

Food was good. Very nice and clean atmosphere. Room temperature was cold so make sure you bring a long sleeve of some sort.

Very pleased in all aspects. We seated ourselves – our server suggested the view overlooking the lake; good choice. I had a ravioli special and enjoyed it, stuffed pasta in a lightly creamy marinara sauce with sliced sausage and mushrooms. Wife had fried shrimp. Generous portions. Her fries ( I tried them) were golden brown and seasoned just right. Our server was friendly and took good care of us. Timing was perfect – we were not hurried at all but our meals were served in a reasonable time. Server checked with us several times to make sure everything was okay and it was. We WILL be back.

Went to Finn’s last night party of 5. It was crowded but we were seated in about 10 mins. The atmosphere was amazing a huge chain from the old restaurant.

The prices are competitive and the food was great . Everyone enjoyed their meeting. I have to give the owner or owners credit for the risk and investment they have made into the Ludington, Manistee and surrounding areas.

I’d like to say kuddos to Nikki the Mgr and her back up Kennedy who I’ve seen at their other restaurants. She has always impressed me as a great addition to the Mgr staff.

Please keep in mind staffing a restaurant of this size in a tourist area is not that easy. So if you want nice places to eat. I’d give this restaurant group a chance to smooth out any rough edges. Maybe if it’s not up to your standards tell mgr first before flaming a business.

Keep the faith

Had the best martinis and food here. Our server Casey & bartender Daisy were awesome and super friendly. The atmosphere was great with plenty of TVs in the bar area to watch sports, and the dining area was spacious and family friendly.

We tried the crab rangoons, chicken sandwich, and chicken meatballs, and everything was really good. Great place to eat, relax, and hang out for a bit. I’ll definitely be back.

Decided to try this place tonight and we disappointed for a Friday night. The hostess was absolutely amazing but the kitchen couldn’t handle the load. We got here about 5pm and were seated promptly. The hostess took our drinks and came back and took our appetizer and dinner order. We ordered the pita and shrimp appetizer and I ordered the prime rib, wife ordered a smash burger and my son ordered the jalapeno chicken sandwich. Almost an hour later our food started showing up and no appetizer. Hostess checked on the appetizer and it got lost in order somehow. It was mentioned that the kitchen manager was not working that night. How does a kitchen manager get a Friday night off and better yet how does a kitchen not function without a manager? The chicken sandwich was piping hot but everything else was not. The prime rib was barely room temperature and I ordered it medium rare. Even so it was stringy and tough to cut when with a steak knife. Prime rib should be juicy and easily cut with a fork, this was neither. The mashed potatoes and green beans were warm and good. The smash burger was mushy. They were not busy when we got there as only half the tables were filled. The only thing good about this meal was the hostess. I don’t blame her for the kitchen issues but I did mention it to her. Our appetizer finally came as we were boxing up our leftovers. I do not like to leave bad reviews at all and I’ll try them at some point in the future and if it’s a better experience I will change this one but until then…. I do not recommend.

The restaurant was extremely busy tonight. The wait was a little longer but the drinks and food were fantastic. You could see the servers working hard. All of them. But it was a packed house. As a customer I can appreciate the hard work and can handle a longer wait for good service and food. Witnessed another customer giving another server a hard time for the long wait when it’s out of her control. Patrons really need to treat these young girls with respect. I wanted to say something but my husband asked me not to. This place is great and you should check it out! Just be aware you’ll wait, but the food and the staff is well worth it. We have been here 4 times now on different days of the week.

Last Friday night I stopped to check the new place out. Its nice and bright inside. Outside looks nice aswell. Ordered grilled shrimp it came out cold on a plate that was cold. Never said cold grilled shrimp on the menu either. Had a grilled chicken sandwich for my main meal. Had a tomato butt on it for a slice of tomato and the chicken was so hard you could not eat it. The fries were over cooked but cold in the middle. Not a good experience for a new restaurant. The waitress was very nice. My guess is the food was not fresh and had been saved in the cooler from last week. Very sad that people work very hard for there money and just want a nice warm meal.
They could have had me back for many years to come. I would not return for this kind of food ever again. The place looks nice though
