Amazing, friendly staff.
A nice menu of everything from breakfast through dinner, including filling portions of Greek food.
Comfortable, never too loud. Well priced for the quantity you get.
Definitely recommend if you are looking for a casual dining experience.
The wow really comes from the food. Now, we’ve only been there once, so I can only comment on our first experience. But it definitely won’t be the last visit for us. We both had the French Cut Pork Chop. It’s about a pound, and it was fantastic. One of the best pork chops either of us ever had. The beef barley soup and the chicken soup were both delicious, and you get a bowl, not a cup. The strawberry shortcake was also really good. Lonnie took great care of us and made us feel like family. The bill, including a glass of wine and an ice tea: about $60. We can’t wait to come back and try some other items. The breakfast looks really good as well.
We arrived tonight and the restaurant was basically empty. We were sat by a man (tall, heavy set) quickly at a table by the window and that’s where it went down hill.
We waited over 20 min for a server to come get drink orders while we watched several stand behind the counter and watched the guy that sat us (who was a server) talk to tables and eat ice cream.
When a waitress finally came over, she was nice and apologetic stating that she saw us sitting and decided to come over and take our table since apparently no one else was. We were very thankful.
She brought our waters and immediately I gave mine right back to her. There was dried red sauce or some kind of food caked onto the glass. She apologized and got me a new one. Mistakes happen, I get it. We ordered and I grabbed my silverware and there as caked on food on the silverware. Gross. So she brought me new and all was fine.
Well our food comes out… for $63 (tip included) we got very very very small portions. I ordered an omelette with hash browns. The omelette came out and the hash browns were still undercooked. They were like biting into raw potato. So those were sent back. When I got new hash browns, I got the TINIEST amount I’ve ever seen. I was given ONE tablespoon of hash browns that was smaller than one single piece of toast. So it’s obviously the cook was getting pissed.
We asked to speak to a manager upon checking out and the man that sat us said one wasn’t available. We just paid and left. We definitely won’t be back.
Our waiter Lon was a true professional, did a great job. The whole staff was wonderful really!
Packed with old folks- that’s always a good sign
I had dinner with my mother here. But the next time i’m down state I’ll bring wifey!!!
