9/28/25 Amazing service. All breakfast options looked great. I chose Two eggs with meat (bacon 4 strips!?!) I appreciated that when I said “hold the home fries” I was offered grits as a substitute (they were good). Our waitress was attentive and on point with the coffee top offs.
My wife and I had a great experience here. This will be where we have breakfast the next time we are in the area.

I stopped by for dinner time, I got a prime rib on the special. Best prime rib I’ve ever had! It was juicy and it was a huge piece. Cooked to the right temperature. I thought about a picture after I was done. Give this place a try, they offer a big menu with plenty of options.

The new owners did an awesome job in cleaning it up with a fresh new look. The food is amazing and so is the staff. You will not leave hungry or disappointed. If you love the Frankford Diner then you will love their second location the DELMAR DINER ❤️❤️

Stopped in for a late lunch at the Delmar Diner now under new ownership. I was greeted right away by two servers. Seated at a sunny booth by the windows. My server Laurie came to us quickly and got us taken care of. I ordered a Ruben melt it was loaded with meat and came with crisp hot fries! The building was clean and freshly updated. The dessert case was full and looked so good we even took some to go!

My wife said her waffle didn’t taste too good. My scramble cheese eggs should have beaten with the cheese in the eggs and not beaten then lay slices of cheese on top of the scramble eggs. The pancakes tasted greedy and the Home Fries needed more seasoning. The Country Fried Steak had no gravy on it and it was dry.

Nice diner, very clean and pleasant atmosphere. We went for the breakfast buffet. Fairly nice selection of food. Only downfall is the food gets cold fast, especially the eggs. The gravys were kind of bland. The biscuits were dry and hard. The hashbrowns were very good. The srapple and bacon were fried crispy, which is a big plus, the sausage was very good as well. The French toast and pancakes were cooked just right. Our waitress, Stephanie, was very friendly and on the ball with refills of drinks, considering that the place was packed.She stopped by just the right amount of times to check and see if we needed anything. Overall I give them 4 stars.

This was our 2nd time going to Delmar Diner. We don’t get that far downstate often. The waitress was nice, seated right away. Food looked and spelt great. My husband loved his soup. But the stuffing in his turkey was not good. It was way to sage and had a fruity taste to it. My burger was good but tomato could have been riper.
