My family (from Laverne) and I (from Baltimore/DC) (party of 7) dined here yesterday. The food presentation was absolutely beautiful; however, the taste did not meet expectations and was unfortunately very bland.
What was more disappointing was the experience regarding a military discount. When my mother asked, the waiter told us that a military discount was accepted. Shortly after, the manager came to our table and, in a very rude and dismissive manner, told us they do not offer a military discount and only offer one for law enforcement. The way it was communicated made us feel as though military service was considered less deserving, which was extremely off-putting and unnecessary. Especially seeing that two of my family members at the table served over 50 years of service together!
Overall, while the restaurant has potential in presentation, the food quality and especially the customer service left a lot to be desired. Respectful communication goes a long way, and this experience fell short! Training is absolutely necessary, along with leaving the entitlement BS the manager presented at the front door!
The waiter, Alex, was great, very cool, attentive, and responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, due to the manager’s behavior, I’m unable to leave a positive overall review.

The mixed drinks and appetizers were great. The burgers were ok definitely not the best but still better than other local places in the Claremont village.

Everything was great. They do a really nice job with the food and drinks. Everything is made with thought and purpose. There are over 60!!! Scratch made sauces in house. I have been to several of the locations, and I am always happy with my experience. I also thought it was cool that all the bricks in the restaraunt are real, and the came out of old factories back in Chicago and repurposed for the decor. Pretty cool that the bricks are all like 100 years old.

Been here twice now and can’t wait to keep coming back. Everything we’ve had is delicious. I’m glad they have vegetarian options. The buffalo cauliflower is really tasty. It’s lively but not loud- you can still have a conversation. The beer and cold tail selection is better than most places in the village.

I went to Finnys in Claremont, I’ve been to a couple other Finnys locations before so I was pretty excited to see one in Claremont (which is relatively close to me). The food was great, I had a pastrami Reuben sandwich, my wife had a salad with shrimp, my son had a kids pizza. Our server was extremely friendly and the ambience was great. I’m giving this review 4 stars because my beer tasted flat.. my server replaced my beer with a different beer and it was a bit better but still tasted a little flat. My wife got a kombucha beer and she said the same. I’m not sure what’s the deal with the draft beers, maybe there’s a temperature issue or something else causing the beer to go flat. I’m writing this review in good faith, hoping someone there sees it and fixes the issue. Like I said, the food and everything else was great and I would love to go back.

We stopped in for our first visit this past Sunday, wonderful atmosphere, cheery and welcoming staff, we sat at the bar. It was a great time watching Sunday football. We had awesome guys at the bar that were very attentive and informative about their menu. We were able to enjoy the cheesesteak eggrolls and the chicken lettuce wraps before our Sunday walk and we loved absolutely every bite my husband what he says was absolutely delicious vanilla nitro blonde or it was a very blonde beer. They’re board up above. The bar is so informative and fun to look at it categorizes each groupings of the beers and makes it quite enjoyable to have fun researching.. Great prices excellent food lots of fun
