Finley’s Round Rock

Social Profile:

It all started when we purchased a failing restaurant in the historic downtown district of Round Rock. We renovated the place from top to bottom, adding two outdoor patios with plenty of space for great friends and family to enjoy quality home cooking together. Whether you’ve stopped in for brunch, lunch, or dinner, you’ll recognize our attention to neighborly customer service from the moment we wave you in. Grab a spot at one of our comfy community tables, order a carefully crafted cocktail, and a round of fried pickles, and get to know a fellow regular. We have 15 TVs, yard games and dog-friendly patios. Once you’ve discovered Finley’s homey environment and unbeatable comfort food, no other bar or restaurant will do.

Pizza, steak & pub grub inside a bright, rustic-chic bar & grill or on a dog-friendly patio.

Ronnie is amazing!!! The GM also came out to greet us. Ronnie made our experience even better with his amazing recommendations! This was our first time visiting. We will definitely make the drive from San Antonio to come back.

Rachel and Mary were top-notch — friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The staff created such a great atmosphere and made sure we were always taken care of. In addition, the appetizers and wings were absolutely amazing! Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor.

This was our 2nd time coming here. I had the smash burger the first time, the 2nd time I tried something off the brunch menu, chicken and waffles did not disappoint. Brussels for appetizer are 2nd to none! We will definitely be back!

Relaxing gastro bar. Decent food. Little more expensive than should be for the food in my opinion. You can spend about 20% less for better burgers at hopdoddy across the freeway.

However the staff is friendly, the beer selection is decent and the outdoor patio is nice.

Couple happy hour drinks, 3 mains, 1 shareable and 2 kids put us at 140ish.

If you’re near the area or just passing through like we were, be sure to add Finley’s as a pit-stop in your itinerary! We were traveling and Google searched places that were open in Round Rock and found this gem. We walked in 15 minutes before kitchen closed and our server Ronnie instantly greeted and served us. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer, a BYO chicken sandwich and the Sweet Heat burger (order their house seasoning on the fries). Everything was absolutely delicious – the sprouts were to die for!! Wish we had pictures for proof, but you’ll just have to visit to see for yourself.

Awesome BLt sandwiches on a hot day! I never would have thought food being good in a bar and daytime was nice as their dark lighting inside made it a more relaxing peaceful place to be. It was a hectic day for me and this was a great place for a quick bite! They give military discount! The service was nice as they’re attentive with what we need! Clean, good value for your money and quite a sweet spot!

I had an amazing time coming here for happy hour! The $4 fireball shots on Fridays are so fun. Caytlin was an amazing waitress! She was so attentive and helpful and recommended some amazing food. The old fashion was divine as well as the Y’allstar Mule. I can’t wait to come back!

I stopped in for brunch this morning and had the Texas Brisket Hash Stef’s Way (includes sides of 2 flower tortillas and avocado [paste]).

The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was comfortable. I even liked the music they were playing. When I looked at the menu, the first thing that I noticed is that their drinks were all alcoholic. This isn’t that crazy, though, because this place is primarily a bar. I ordered off-menu and got some orange juice, though.

I found the brisket hash to be a little bland and light on brisket. Other than that, it was ok. My big problem was with the avocado [PASTE]. First of all, themenu says “avocado” not “avocado paste” or even “guacamole.” This would have been fine, though, except that it tasted like it came out of a tin can that had been sitting in the freezer for a while and they just thawed it in the microwave. The tomato paste they use at that very large sub sandwich chain we all know is better than this paste was.

Finley’s might be a good bar in the evening and maybe one day I’ll find out and edit my review, but I’m highly unlikely to return for brunch or even dinner.
