We eat here a few times a month, mostly Sundays, always pep. pizza, been ordering that from Filippis pizzas throughout SD for decades. The ppl at this one in particular are always super nice and they’re very hard working. The tall fella in the front, the 2 waitresses, all the unsong heroes in the back, I just wanted to take the time to thank them all. This pizza I got today is probably the best one I ever ate from Filippis haha it was super fluffy, absolutely fantastic.

Stopped in for dinner. The restaurant is great for family dinner and a great vibe of a gathering place. The pizza, salad, and bruschetta were delicious.
The server never brought the bread to our table even though she mentioned herself. Also there should’ve bread with the lasagna.
Meatballs were mediocre. No need to order again. The lasagna was a pile of sauce!

The pizza is excellent. Lots of cheese, and you can taste the freshness and feel the crispness of the vegetable toppings. I’ve not yet tried the other pasta dishes. Where Filippi’s went wrong for us was with the service.
We waited, standing, for approximately 20-25 minutes for a table on a Wednesday evening. Apparently they were extremely short staffed. Once we were seated, we promptly gave our order to the gentlemen who seated us. He brought drinks, then maybe 10-15 minutes later brought us the incorrect pizza and left before we could tell him it wasn’t what we ordered. We waited another 10 minutes or so for him to come back around and take the pizza away and put in our correct order. I will say that the correct order came up quickly, but by that time we were pretty disappointed with our visit to say the least. I do need to add that the server was extremely apologetic, and brought us antipasto at no charge, however we didn’t want it and didn’t eat it.
Overall our experience dining in was extremely poor. We’re of the opinion that if they were that short staffed they should have closed the dining room for the evening and just concentrated on take out and delivery orders. As such, we will no longer dine in here. If we do order Filippi’s again, it will strictly be take out only.

As always, the food was great! Love the Lasagna, torpedo sandwich, ravioli, spaghetti & meatball. The sourdough bread is amazing! Highly recommend.

This was my 2nd time at this location. The food we ordered was fairly good, but nothing to really write home about. Our server was very accommodating and assisted us with changing a pasta order at no extra cost.
The restaurant and the environment is clean, with ample parking in a busy plaza.
We didn’t get pizza this time around, but I recall it being tasty! I would come back just for their lunch specials.

Met up with some family for dinner! The pizza is covered in cheese, like OH MY GOODNESS! There was a band playing nearby, and we sat outside, so it was definitely an awesome vibe! The service is excellent and so friendly!!
