Let me tell you The Double Cheezy Deluxe was mouth watering. My wife enjoyed The Cheezy Deluxe so packed with flavor in every bite. Fries and burgers made upon ordering so really fresh and really good. The Crispy Tacos were exquisite . Can’t wait to comeback and try the nachos and Barrio burger. Definitely worth the visit.

Walked in greeted by the entire staff, made us feel like family. We ordered nachos and they came out quick. They were piled on each chip. The have red flash with free Refills! The staff continously checked on us. The atmosphere was fun like a teenagers dream, posters and memorabilia lined the walls. The place is a definite MUST!

Filé’s Burgers is an absolute gem in San Antonio. Highly recommend the tater tots and onion rings. The burgers are amazing—juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care—but what really sets this place apart is the staff. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to make sure you have a great experience. Bonus points for a drive-thru, which is a perfect option when you want incredible food without getting out of the car. 100% recommend!!!

Nice little spot for burgers in San Antonio. Their onion rings are some of the best around and the service is top notch. The burgers are good, smash type with some flavor. Good if in the area.

A Nostalgic and Flavorful Experience at File’s Burgers

Walking into File’s Burgers felt like stepping into a warm, familiar memory. The cozy atmosphere was inviting, with huge flags adorning the walls. However, one tiny flag in particular caught my eye, the VOKS flag, instantly transported me back to my high school days. Seeing it there was an unexpected yet delightful reminder of where I came from—a small but meaningful touch that made the experience even more special.

Now, let’s talk about the food. If you’re looking for fresh, made-to-order burgers, this is the spot. This isn’t your typical fast-food joint where everything is pre-made and rushed. Instead, the kitchen takes its time, ensuring every burger is cooked to perfection. For me, this was a plus, as I was out to lunch with friends. It gave us the chance to slow down, be in the moment, and actually enjoy good conversation while waiting for our food.

And for my fellow tater tot lovers, this place has you covered! Seeing them on the menu was a pleasant surprise, and they did not disappoint. Crispy, golden, and absolutely delicious, they were the perfect side to go with my meal.

Beyond the food, the customer service stood out. The staff was genuinely friendly, helpful, and made sure our experience was a great one. Their kindness added to the welcoming vibe of the place, making it clear that this is a business that truly values its customers.

All in all, File’s Burgers delivered on every level: food, atmosphere, and service. A solid 5/5 from me, and I’ll definitely be returning for another round of great food and nostalgia. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and give it a visit!

First time trying this place after seeing all of the good reviews. I’ll be the first to tell ya they weren’t lying! Come support this local business. The employees were awesome, super nice dudes and made me feel welcomed like I was a regular there. Cheese tots with ranch were the bomb. And the double cheesy was delicious. All around, you won’t regret this experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels like you’re eating at abuelitas on a Sunday morning after church watching cartoons lol. Btw I am pretty picky with burgers and usually never feel compelled to take the time to leave a review, but I’m so happy with the food and service that I absolutely had to.

I found the place above average in all areas. Their service, food and atmosphere were impeccable. There was an event there with numerous guests and everything went great. I would recommend File’s to everyone. And can’t wait to eat there again.

Went through the drive thru and my order was ready pretty quickly. Super friendly service. First time there, but they made me feel like a regular. Had the cheesy deluxe combo with onion rings. The burger was seasoned well and tasted so good. The onion rings were fantastic and not greasy at all. If you haven’t already, try File’s. You won’t be disappointed.

So today’s random “burgers in San Antonio” Google search led me to Filé’s Burgers. Located centrally in the famous west side, this place is rather hidden amongst residential homes. The drive thru doesn’t work (a sign stating that would help) so you have to drive to the window and order there. Don’t yell and wait for a bit looking foolish like I did. In their defense, it’s probably written on the menu board and I was just too impatient to read it. Anyways, I went ahead and walked inside to check it out. Loved it! The owner is clearly a wrastling aficionado! The burger was built right and lightly seasoned. The hand pressed pattie was definitely bigger than the bun which is a RARE but pleasant surprise. The onions were a little excessive for my taste but luckily, you can just pick one or ten off. The fries were eh… no seasoning AT ALL. That’s seems to be the norm around here. Overall the cheeseburger combo was like $14 so a little on the higher end but worth it. If you make the drive, bring a buck or two for the dude washing your windshield at the red light on Zarzamora and I think Baker. He does a good job. That is all. Good day, carry on.
