Reviews
They put nothing to eat with in the bag.
The food was semi-warm when received.
The driver tried to be slick and thought we would meet him downstairs when we clearly wanted the order brought to the door!!
I wouldn’t order from them again wished I could get back the $18.00 spent it wasn’t worth the money or the harm consuming the meal would cause me to finish!!
I wanted to post my pictures but no where to put them with this review that sucks!!
It is very clear that you are working out of desperation in this feeble attempt to do business.
We left very disappointed that we decided to support an establishment run by an Owner that would COMPLETELY IGNORE the CONSUMER’S CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM we initially offered. It was very disheartening to get such a LACK OF CONSIDERATION when it is clearly YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make the consumer experience was not as easy and convenient as it should be in the 21st century.
What happened?…
Otw to the car, we decided to support the food truck and try something new. We walked ♂️ ♀️ up… NO CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS as to how to place an order. We knocked on the window. After it took them far more time to open the window than it should, they told us to order online. We did. Text came when food was done. We go back to the window, and they don’t have our order. They said my husband placed the order at the restaurant location.
We called Joe for a refund because, quite frankly, I was hesitant to place the order after feeling like it was absurd that a customer standing right in front of you is redirected to place an online order.
‼️Soooo… we called Joe for a refund, AND BOYYYY WAS THAT A FULL ON DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
He was defensive, combative, and offered to give us a $5 discount instead of the $10 we paid. I was adamant that the order process could easily be made much simpler by adding a QR CODE and the order instructions on the A-Frame in front of the food truck.
Needless to say…. that was our 1st and LAST time patronizing either location.
The other two entrees were mid at best. Would never order from, or eat here, again.
The workers called who I assumed to be the owner, someone named Joe, and I explained to him that I did not like the food, I barely touched it, and I wanted a full refund. He then began to tell me how since “nothing was wrong” with the food, he could only give me half a refund, even though I had not even eaten the food.
He was honestly pretty rude. As I was describing how I paid $17 for simple alfredo and chicken, he interrupted me to say that the reason why my meal was $17 was because “I had a lot of add ons” when the only thing I had was alfredo and chicken and a receipt to prove it. He then told me that I would receive my refund the next morning, which I did not.
It is the next day and I tried to call the food truck to see about the process of my refund. The phone numbers on google are all out of service for the little 5 points location so I had to physically drive there again to check on my refund.
When I got there, I spoke to Joe over the phone again (the owner I spoke to the day before) and explained that given the fact I did not eat or enjoy my food, I was not given a refund when I was told I would receive it, and there wasn’t even phone number to contact his establishment so I had to physically drive to check on my refund, I wanted a full refund.
He explained again that since “there was nothing wrong with the food”, I would only get a 50% refund and that if there was “something wrong with the food” that he would have given me a full refund. He then went on to talk about how I should have chosen a dish “with a heartier sauce” since the alfredo was a simple sauce, which honestly makes no sense to me, all items on the menu should be made correctly regardless of the sauce.
I explained that it wasn’t ethical to charge for a meal that wasn’t even eaten and he asked what he was supposed to do with the food that I didn’t eat? I replied to throw it away because it simply wasn’t good and he proceeded to tell me “the conversation was over and I will only receive a 50% refund”.
Very poor customer service on the owner’s part. The workers were wonderful and I wish they didn’t have to work for such a money hungry company that doesn’t value customer satisfaction. Honestly if you want food that costs less, actually tastes good, and has great customer service, you’re better off going next door to Hattie B’s and getting a meal for $10. This place will be the cause of its own downfall within the next 2 years tops.
