It’s hard to find a good pizza when you’re not on the east coast. Figlio’s definitely compares. We got a half plain half bacon and a buffalo chicken. Very good. Was a little surprised to find out the chicken on the buffalo chicken was actually from buffalo wings and that was amazing. Probably the best pizza we’ve had in Texas.

Very good pizza. Ordered several for my store staff and did a pickup. Go in understanding they stand on quality, not speed of service. It is worth the wait. Crust has a good chew and the toppings tasted very fresh and high quality. The meats were great and the sauce was not over-powering. For the local community it is a must try pizza stop.

My absolute favorite Italian comfort food is the vesuvio with the sauce on the side…my only regret is I can not eat it all because I really want to but on the bright side I can enjoy it all over again the next day. I hate to recommend this place because it is small, friendly and delicious and if the word gets out it will become over crowded but this place deserves all the success in the world for always delivering delicious food.

I came here thinking this restaurant was called “46 St Pizzeria” as listed online. I assume they sold the business and changed the names. Anyways we decided to go in and check Figlio out. This is the type of restaurant that you order at the counter and you just sit down; although there is no waitress service the cashier was nice and attentive. The free bread they offer was great. Unfortunately the rest of the food sucked. The Chicken Alfredo pasta was very watery and didn’t have much taste. The chicken parm spaghetti plate was completely covered with sauce to the point that you could barely see the spaghetti and chicken. I’ve never seen so much sauce on a pasta dish. It was so bad. I definitely do not recommend ordering their pasta dishes.

Im not big on Italian food, I’d only eaten the pizza here once before, many years ago, but decided to give it another try. This visit I decided to eat on a budget, and one of the cheapest items on the menu was the spaghetti and meatballs.

When the food came out it was steaming hot. The meatballs were large and a good amount of sauce was covering everything. The sauce had good flavor and the meatballs were not overpowering with flavor. Instead they complimented the sauce and noodles nicely with just enough seasoning.

The bread brought out at the beginning of the meal was a bit dry, I found myself peeling the crust off before buttering it, but otherwise the meal was nice.

Overall Id come back here for the spaghetti. Many places overcharge for a simple dish like this, but I felt this item warranted the price on the menu. It was prepared properly, was a good serving and had good flavor.

Really good. Huge portions. Well priced. Great service. Quaint little place.
It’s not Italy/NY quality, but for Texas, especially remote Texas, couldn’t ask for better besides maybe fresh parmesan.

Figlio’s pizza is quite possibly the best pizza available in or around San Antonio. It’s fantastic food and service, as well as its proximity to home have made it our default Italian restaurant. Highly recommend the ricotta pizza, fried raviolis and classic pepperoni pizza!

Their Margherita pizza is super delicious! Don’t miss out if you’re in the area or wanna check it out. The Cesar salad is also good too and the workers are all very friendly!

Bring your appetite and stretchy pants, these guys do not know small portions. Great food great prices, great service. My visit here was almost perfect. The staff was extremely nice. The pizza was hot, cheesy, greasy and loaded with toppings, they did not hold back. The only thing that I experienced was the tea was not fresh and I had to send it back for water. I don’t drink carbonated drinks but I did see the staff bringing glasses and cans of Coke to others there. I agree with other post, they need a fountain machine for those who prefer that. I had the Figlio special pizza and will be back for pasta next time.
