Found this place while killing some time during my daughter’s cheerleading practice, and I’m really glad I did. It has that true hometown bar feel where everyone seems to know each other and actually enjoys being there.
The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms with a cream cheese sauce and they were absolutely spectacular. Followed that up with five wings cooked extra crispy—done perfectly and very good.
The drink was made just right, and the bartender was efficient and attentive, refilling it exactly how it should be without being overbearing. Great atmosphere, great food, great service.
And the cherry on top—college wrestling on the TV. That alone will bring me back. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want good food, good drinks, and a welcoming local vibe.
If you want it shorter, more casual, or a little punchier, I can tweak it quickly.

Nice little roadside cafe. Great for lunch, or dinner, or brunch on Sundays. There is an outside area with seating that is dog friendly. The service is very personable and welcoming. This is a nice neighborhood spot that is very welcoming to outsiders, like me! The bartender was Kristen. She is great! Very funny, friendly, and the perfect person for the position.

How could I have lived in Frederick all my life and not known about this place? ALL of the food is fresh and delicious. The burgers, fries, and “crispy yet moist and delicious” wings are all amazing. Even the desserts are made fresh and taste wonderful. The service is great as well. It’s our new go to spot.

Very cool if your into fun little dive bars and great bar food. Loved the fried mozz with garlic parm and marinara. The burgers were tasty and huge.

Nice local bar, not all that great on the outside, but it’s definitely character.
Service was prompt and the beer was cold.

The nachos were good. They would have been great if they had more ground beef. There was only a few crumbles. The chips seemed to be pita chips. They held up well and gave a surprisingly fulfilling texture to balance the cheese sauce. We will definitely go back to try these again. My husband wanted a chicken sandwich but they were out of breasts. He went with the classic burger and added a patty. He opted for dill pickle seasoning on his fries. He would try it again. My son order a chicken wrap but I can’t remember which one. He had no complaints. I ordered the fun guy burger. It had that char-grilled flavor and the Mayo was excellent. It was large enough I could have shared and took half of it home.

The service was so bad I am leaving an angry message. My advice, don’t hire an incompetent children to tend bar. The bar tender doesn’t know how to pour a beer. Both of my beers were half foam. And the one bottle beer, I didn’t even order but paid for it any way. Also, don’t insult your customers for dipping their fries into ranch, or if you do, do NOT insult them within ear shot of that customer. I have been here many times before and had fine service. But I suggest going to Potomac Street grill if you live there in Brunswick or Jefferson. At least there, they will get your order right.

Can’t speak to the food, but the bar itself is great. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, but a great atmosphere (they had the awesome DJ Taktek playing recently) and reasonably-priced drinks. There’s an outside, fenced-in area to enjoy the outside or to smoke. Service is great. If you’re into a meeting more country-feeling bar, this is a great place to stop.
