Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. This is a solid option if you are looking for a quick but satisfying meal that still feels like quality food rather than fast food.
Fiesta Chicken is a great local spot, and we will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone in the Boise area looking for a reliable, tasty meal.
I stopped in today for the first time and ordered the Chicken Taco Salad and a 16oz. bowl of chicken tortilla soup… Both were wonderful, and they didn’t skimp on either dish.. So, why only 4 stars?
1) Initially, they handed me a taco salad that was soaked in Pico juice, so much so that the tray had a puddle and the counter they sat it on was also puddled… I had to ask them to remake.
2) The in-restaurant table ware couldn’t be any worse… tiny little spoons and forks that bend when you breathe on them… Made eating soup and salad way too much of a chore.
3) I stood at the counter for 3 or 4 minutes, while employees walked by and said nothing, nor took order, etc… Finally one of them said, “Have you been helped”… That was a “No”.
Bottom line is that the food is tasty and a good value, but they should better consider the customer experience.
Get it together ustick manager. Lots of Mexican restaurants out there.
We got the Birria Taco, Carne Asada Taco, Creamy Cilantro Chicken Taco and Creamy Cilantro Beef Taco and these were all on flour tacos. I especially loved the Birria Taco and the Carne Asada Taco but I wouldn’t say I was over the moon about the Creamy Cilantro Chicken Taco. I love their creamy cilantro sauce although I think it’s a little silly to charge for extra sauce in a little container.
Everything on their menu is fantastic. However, my absolute favorite and number one recommendation are the Chipotle Chicken Tacos. Someone else here says they are the equivalent of crack – I second that! Three warm, fluffy flour tortillas filled with generously seasoned chicken, cheese, pico de gallo, and lettuce drizzled with the most delicious chipotle ranch. It comes with a kick, but if you’re a real one you’ll still add more hot sauce to send your taste buds to a whole other planet.
If you’re really, really hungry, the Chicken Burrito Supreme will take great care of you. It’s HUGE and cheap. And very, very good. Delicious, moist chicken, rice, beans, cheese, onions, cilantro, guac, pico and sour cream all stuffed in an extra large flour tortilla. What a mouthful! It’s extremely flavorful. Think about the best burrito you’ve ever had, and multiply that feeling by 10.
Their beef is meh. I would never choose anything with beef here when their chicken is the real star of the show.
