first time here. the food did not disappoint. some of the best catfish i’ve ever had really. if i had to critique one thing, it’d be that the ranch is a little watery, but is good. whenever i have another layover, i will definitely come back.

We liked the casual atmosphere. The hush puppies and onion rings appetizers were both good. Our waitress was attentive. I ordered the shrimp basket and my husband the oyster basket so we could share. We both LOVE fried oysters, but THANK GOODNESS we both didn’t order them because they tasted nasty (strong fishy taste). They were fried well, but I can’t believe no one else has complained about them. ♀️ We usually take leftovers home but left the oysters to be thrown away. We noticed most other patrons were eating the boiled platters but they were TOO expensive for us to get.

I went to eat with 3 friends and I must say I was impressed. I arrived first so I went ahead and ask to be seated. I arrived at 7:35pm. The atmosphere was very pleasant for a Tuesday night. The restaurant wasn’t overly packed but just enough patrons eating. The server greeted me in a timely manner, so I ordered my drink, which was a coke. My friends arrived we placed our food order. I ordered the catfish basket ,which came with fries and hush puppies. I also ordered a crab salad. My catfish was perfect, my crab salad was so yummy. I would definitely order that meal again. My 3 friends ordered the boiled shrimp special. They totally loved their meals as well. We were very satisfied with the food. Our server he was very nice and polite. He checked in on us periodically. He knew when to refill drinks and to clear the table. I would recommend everyone to try this place out.

This was our second time in this store. We were treated to being carded for cocktails, not a big deal for us 60 year olds and better to be safe than sorry. The fried basket was not as good as we’d hoped it would be. The oysters were overdone and the catfish was pretty good. I we’ll admit, the shrimp were tasty. I truly don’t think we’ll go back as there are so many options for fried seafood in town and this didn’t fit for us but we wanted to try it again just in case or first experience was flawed… it doesn’t appear to have been flawed so we won’t likely be returning. The girls running around sure are friendly but the food was simply not worth the effort. Thanks for the second chance and we hope you look into some quality changes for your fried seafood. Maybe the boiled seafood is better but we won’t know to provide a review because we’re going elsewhere next time.
