We got there and was told a 15 minute wait. We had 4 kids and 2 adults so 6 total but the kids were under 10. So we could’ve been placed in a booth. Thats the only thing that kept it from being 5 full stars. The hostesses seated other parties of 4&5 before us and our time went from 15 -25 – 45 minutes. We waited because the kids really wanted it. That was probably the worst part of it was waiting to be seated.
After being seated we were met right away with friendly, personal and fast service. Placed our drinks and an appetizer and order our food. The drinks came and 5 minutes later our table was covered with food. I love that they give you a bib and gloves, but being from Louisiana we dont uses that so we dug right in. The kids wanted hot and the seasoning was perfect. We ordered 2 crabtastics and saved a bit of money. The hennyrita and regular margaritas was awesome. Seems like it was just a little if food but we all left stuffed.
There is no parking so if you cant walk when you’re full then you’re gonna need to pay for parking.

In all if they can adjust the front this place would be 5 stars. The hostess by no way was being intentionally rude to do so she just thought we had 6 adults and we would wouldn’t be able to fit in a booth. But once they realized we were seated shortly after.
Will revisit again for sure. If you’re in the Quarter and looking for a good seafood spot this is the place to be… the vibes of the music they were playing was awesome and the TVs had the sports on so it was all around great!

I’m not that crazy if I seafood to begin with, but this place is insane
We ordered the family meal Oh my God we ordered two and one would’ve been enough for the sex of us, we ended up taking one and a half of the trays home.
It is delicious. The service is pretty good as well. Highly recommended.

Recommend stopping by this Fiery Crab near Saenger Theater in New Orleans. Fresh good tasting seafood. Tried raw oysters which were perfectly salted and good medium sized. Snow crab legs seasoned mildly had well balanced taste and were easily peeled. Boiled Crawfish were small but February 4th is very early in the Crawfish season. They were prepared excellent. They came with sausage, corn, and potatoes. I tried the shrimp salad with the house spicy dressing. I think the dressing was similar to ramelaude dressing. Atmosphere was a perfect restaurant ambience with unique fixtures. There is a bar as all places in New Orleans should. One flaw was where we were seated a waft of cigarette smoke occurred two times. Not sure if it was coming from the window that the servers placed the dishes or if someone was smoking in the bathroom that was nearby. That is something I would expect the management can address easily.

The food was really good and a very tasty Lousiana spiced up seafood. We are disappointed about not having the crab cutlery and we couldn’t able to eat at the place but the food is so great culled up with native firey spice and the dry rub Lousiana spice. We also like the separate spice that was given with butter. Would love to visit again sooner.

Great experience. We received several recommendations from the French Quarter community about the food at Fiery Crab and they did not let us down. My wife and I love this place. The waitress was patient and throughly explained the menu.

So I decided to have lunch here. My waitress was so nice. She spoke kindly to me all while smiling and being friendly. They had nice music playing in a relaxing atmosphere. The bartender did a good job with my drink as well. I ordered the blue crab boil bag. It was more than enough food for me. I was able to take the rest with me. I’m sure when I come back to New Orleans, I’ll visit this place again.

The restaurant is a casual dining experience. We ordered two shrimp baskets that came with a choice of sides, a long with various sauces and crab salad. The shrimp was glorious! It had a crunchy batter coating. The shrimp were hefty and so tender and juicy! The fries nice and crispy too and none of it was greasy at all. Probably the best shrimp we’ve had on our travels! The waitress was attentive and friendly, and she took care of all our needs kindly. The price was very reasonable and the portions were generous.

Walked in and warmly greeted, sat down and was served by Ice who was so tentative and sweet. We ordered the family feast and went to town. This is a must visit every time we come down from Houston.
