We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The staff was friendly, cheerful, willing to answer any questions about the menu. They were prompt to get our drinks and order. It did take about 20 min for the food to come out. But definitely worth it. I got the shrimptastic which came w 2 snow crab clusters, a pound of shrimp, plus the traditional potatoes, corn and sausage. You have your choice of flavor. I did garlic butter. Everything was just so good from start to finish. I highly recommend you give them a try. Tiffany is a great server. Never once let our drinks bottom out and just had a great attitude about her.
Unfortunately, we were leaving the next day, or we definitely would have returned for another meal. We highly recommend this place—you won’t be disappointed!
Let me start off by saying the hostess wearing the neck brace you had working the booth Mardi Gras night was absolutely horrible, rude, and has no real idea how to handle a large rush like tonight.
She took our famlies phone number and said we would have to be called when a table is ready because there was not enough room to wait inside ( this part is very important for what happens later).
The estimated time given was 20 min.. no big. However, I’ve worked in a restaurant so I understand that sometimes wait times can extend , so when the wait time went past the twenty minutes to almost 40 we checked. We were assured we were still on the list and that there was two parites ahead of us…
Well , this continued two more times to the point to where we were there over an hour. By the third time we moved to sit inside and there was far less people.
The last time my husband went up to check I guess the hostess finally actually paid attention to who he was and she very rudely informed him that she called our nameand were no longer on the list. My husband informed her that he had come up to check a couple of times and that we were told we would be called to which she stared at him , made a face, then said , I yelled your name very loud…..
At this point it had been an hour and almost 20 min and we had a 7 year old. We had been bery understanding every time they told us there was two more people ahead of us, but come ON!
He asked if we could get back on the list and she smacked her lips at him and said that she could try to scrounge something together , but we missed our spot it would more than likely have to wait.
We obviously left.
I tried to call and talk to a manager or a supervisor, but I was at first told that they were on the phone, but then when I said I would wait because it’s already been an hour was told that they are a third party restaurant and that there was no one I could talk to and someone would have to call me.
I’m not holding my breath for a call, but I’m sure they’ll yell my name really loud to talk about the issue of tonight.
A special shoutout to our waitress Tabitha”, she was absolutely wonderful! Fast, friendly, and super attentive the entire time. She made our visit even better with her great service.
