My significant other loves the chilaquiles from here more than anywhere else. Everything is delicious, I got the huevos rancheros with a taco of country and egg à la mexicana with a coffee. Even the coffee was amazing! I drank two and asked for a cup to go. Amazing service, never had an empty mug, and everything came quickly. The only thing is I wish there was red salsa(outside of the ranchera salsa) because I love red salsa in my egg tacos. I will definitely be back again soon!

We went for breakfast. ❤️The first thing I noticed was live music. The dining room was bustling! Every time someone was leaving there were more people coming in. The bright colors in the deco were very appealing and it appeared clean. As soon as we got to our table there was someone there cheerfully ready to get drinks. The prices are reasonable, the portions are large and the food is very tasty. I’ll be back!

First time in, but I was on my way home from a bike ride at McAlister Park. Ordered two breakfast tacos, one bean/egg/cheese and one potato/egg/cheese. Had planned on ordering a soda or energy drink as wet, but they didn’t have a lower sugar option so I passed on that. Tacos were a bit on the pricey side, but they were good size tacos and very tasty, so I don’t regret paying more.
I ordered to-go, but it seems like a decent place to sit and eat. They had a couple of old men with guitars playing some nice music, and I very much enjoyed that. So even though it wasn’t the cheapest tacos, they were delicious and ready quickly, so I’ll definitely be back.

After 40 years of pursuing the great taco hunt in San Antonio, Fidelo’s has become my go-to place. Large and delicious tacos at a reasonable price. Sometimes I can’t eat two. Good lunch specials. Service is fast and friendly and the place has an authentic old time San Antonio atmosphere. Plus, Fidel, the owner is regularly seen hustling around in the kitchen while his son Lewis runs the dining room. And they certainly know what they are doing.

Amazing Caldo Pollo, menudo, and tortilla soup. The breakfast tacos, papas mexicanas, bacon and egg, and others have been fabulous. The pork chops plate, pork chop breakfast plate, chalupas, encobolida plate, fajitas, enchiladas; you name it; are all to die for. THE BEST MENUDO! Is my mom in the back cooking? The flavor of the food is reminiscent of my mom’s cooking growing up. Very well done menudo the way it’s supposed to be made. The barbacoa is perfection, not dry & not greasy. We’ve tried a few plates so far but we will be coming back for more. This is food the way I remember it was made. The prices are also very reasonable for what you get. It’s a busy place so get there early! That BIG burrito really is a BIG burrito!

This is legit Mexican food. Homemade tortillas to die for. I had the Fidelo’s Plate with asada and 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. I normally don’t like Mexican rice but this stuff was delicious. The refried beans were delicious too and the asada was in a kinda tomato sauce. I haven’t had it this way before but it was damn good. We will definitely be back.
