Patrons here seemed to all be regulars. Everyone kinda knew each other and their backstories. Owners came from Sherpa families in Nepal. Artwork depicting this is hung all over. The chef routinely walks around to ask how everyone is doing and if they are enjoying their food.
Food was absolutely phenomenal. Excellent mix of textures and flavors. I didn’t even see the chickpeas on the menu but it was one of the highlights for me. That and the pork sphaghetti. Tasted like Italian with Asian spices. I heard the tomahawk pork chop and hummus were great too.
Service was prompt and professional. I can see why people come here often.
no wait . Mark was our host, server and bartender. He was amazing. Great recommendations on drinks and food options. My favorite dish was the pork belly appetizer. Simply delicious. Will definitely be on my list of places to eat when I visit in the future.
There’s a wait for every part, but it is worth it. Let me explain…
The food is absolutely amazing. Chef has curated and executed an amazing menu. The atmosphere is top notch. The food..OMG. It was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in Atlanta and worth the price. Presentation, quantity, and quality- 20 out of 10. EVERY ITEM was amazing, from appetizer to entree, and I mean that. You cannot go wrong.
Now, the one major issue….
We dined for a special occasion on a Friday night. Strangely, the restaurant ran a short staff from the valet to the bartender to the wait staff to the kitchen. The result was that there was about a 20 minute wait for drinks after ordered. The appetizers came shortly shortly thereafter. It took another 30 to 40 minutes for the entrees to arrive. In all, it took about an hour from order to fork in mouth with the entrees. Snack before you go because, based on our experience, it will take a while.
That being said, the food is absolutely worth the wait. I just wish the wait was not long.
1. JT was our server and he was top tier! From the minute I sat down he was attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. He provided solid recommendations and wasn’t overbearing.
2. The short rib! I know I know I know…every other review says the same thing, BUT HEY!! If it’s good its good! Want to know HOW good?!?! When I warmed it up at home it got BETTER!! A recommendation: have someone order the rib so you can at least try it but not be committed to it lol.
Oh!! The cocktails are delicious!
