Very small inside dining area, but it is a quite cozy little deli. I ordered the potato & bacon soup, & it was VERY good! The bowl was filled almost to the brim, so a good size serving. The prices are good, too. My roommate had ordered a deli sandwich there a month ago, & suggested I give it a try. I think I’m definitely going to be a regular guest there!

There’s nothing that I like more than a place that takes their service serious! Unsure how long Fetterman’s has been around, but to give a commitment of great service like it was opening day is phenomenal! I respect a service when they receive input from their customers, check it out, and respond. More establishments should operate in that manner. When an owner is actively involved it says a lot about their business and a glimpse of who they are as they service the area as some find themselves above building a rapport. This sandwich gave me a taste of (New York) like I walked into a bodega and ordered a breakfast sandwich (understand… not many people can replicate a NY breakfast sandwich) mainly because they don’t obtain the 1 thing that makes it that!!!! FETTERMAN’S DID!!!! I travel a lot, but when I return to Platte City this will be my go to for breakfast! If something’s not broke no need to fix it! Will have yourselves a regular!

Great place, the breakfast burritos were filling and have plenty of meat in the filling. Wide variety of bottled/canned drinks and chips, including some local brands. Our food was cooked and ready before we even finished paying and there is a solid selection of seating choices. New favorite pit stop before kc!

We genuinely love this deli and really want it to succeed. The food is consistently delicious, the menu has a ton of variety, and the prices are fair. It’s one of our go-to spots because when they get it right, it’s so good.
That said, the service has been a recurring issue for us. It’s not that anyone is rude, everyone is generally polite, but our order gets messed up almost every single time we’ve been there.
Today was especially frustrating. We came in for breakfast at 10:30am (which is listed as the weekday cutoff, with 11am being the weekend cutoff) and were initially told breakfast wasn’t being served. When we said no worries and that we’d head elsewhere, we were suddenly able to order breakfast after all. Unfortunately, our order was also incorrect again.
We truly don’t want to leave a negative review because we enjoy the food and the casual atmosphere. But consistency and clearer communication would make a huge difference.
We’ll definitely keep coming back, just really hoping to see some improvements on the service side!

First time visiting the place and I have to say WOW.I ordered a meatball sandwich and it was really really good ,the flavor the bread, the sauce you have to try it.Now its on my top 5 best meatball subs right up there with NY.Staff also was friendly and always a smile on their faces. Definitely coming back.

I only give 4 stars because it’s hard for me to give a sandwich shop 5. However, this sandwich was absolutely delicious. Juicy, spicy, full of flavor. If I lived here this would be a weekly visit. I ordered the jalapeno pepper jack Phili cheesesteak. I want another one now!!!

Their breakfast offerings are by far and wide the best thing that they have. It is super reasonable. For their breakfast, their pricing seems to be on par with McDonald’s and honestly I’d rather get a delicious well-prepared breakfast sandwich from fetterman’s than some sad English muffin covered hockey puck that looks like somebody sat on it . They actually have Taylor ham so they can make proper New Jersey style Taylor pork rolls. Their breakfast sandwiches are outstanding. And I would put their B&g up against just about any of the best in all of Kansas City. Their other sandwiches are great. They have two different kinds of Pastrami. Their chip selection is amazing. The price is a little bit high but The quality is top notch. Overall, I think this was a great addition to Platte City

Don’t usually leave reviews but… Recently visited Fetterman’s with high hopes, ordered a combo rueben sandwich, (mind you the sandwich was 22.00) the sandwich was toddler size. lol
Also taste like you was eating beef jerky on rye bread. Very dry to say the least!
