I never even imagined that I would eat brisket with kimchi, but that’s exactly what I had. The symphony of flavors left me speechless at times, while the vibrant spectrum of colors in my bowl made me feel bad for disturbing it. It was, in a word or two, mind-blowing.
Ordering takes far too long. It’s a Chipotle-style setup where you move down the line, but the pace is incredibly slow. On our most recent visit, it took over 10 minutes just to order for our family of five, with only one person assembling orders while the line kept growing behind us.
On top of that, the portions don’t feel aligned with the price. My son’s build-your-own bowl was barely half full. Even if protein portions are limited for cost reasons, it would make sense to be more generous with rice or vegetables. The kids’ meals were especially disappointing, with very minimal protein and restrictions on veggies if the kids didn’t want dip, which didn’t make much sense.
The food has a lot of potential, but until the service and portioning improve, it’s hard to enjoy the experience.
The food itself was so good. I got a BYOB with brisket and it may have been the best thing I’ve eaten in a long while. The combination of flavors was amazing; lots of savory mixed with tangy which is something I adore.
The atmosphere was so cozy. I love the decor and the music and vibes all meshed so well. It felt alive but relaxed (granted I got there right as they opened).
All in all, a fabulous experience. I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be back very frequently. Thank you guys!
