Fest is an Americanized version of a German Biergarten. We serve up excellent sausages and schnitzel, alongside wings, burgers and salads. Wash them all down with German and American craft beers, wine or ciders.
Enjoy your 1 or 1/2 liter stein of ale or lager indoors at one of our large tables made from repurposed German wooden concrete forms or outside in our shady biergarten.
Schnitzel Sunday is a thing here with $5 Schnitzel Sandwiches and $10 Platters all day. Wednesday night is Polish Night with $5 Pierogis, $6 Polska Keilbasa Sandwiches, and $15 Golonkas (Pork Knuckles). Oh, and Stein Society members get $5 stein fills all day Monday.
Prost, Na Zdrowie, or Cheers! No matter how you say it, we mean it at Fest!

10 out of 10. Just tried for the first time and it is now a favorite. We went on Schnitzel Sunday..omg yum..it’s a schnitzel (fried pork loin) sandwich and chips. We also got The Polska and upgraded to German potato salad for the side.. just fantastic. Their side pickles are so good. The atmosphere is awesome and classy. We will definitely be back! I’ll get better pics next time.

Family-friendly and delicious food! This was our first time here and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
We had the sausage platter, schnitzel, and two types of sausages; as well as fries, chips, mac-n-cheese, and potato salad as sides. My kiddos ate it all up (which says a lot for sometimes picky minions). The chips are handcut and crisp; definitely a must-try.
I also tried out a lemon radler and saw them mix beer off the tap and fresh lemonade; ice cold and refreshing!
Seating is bench-style seating and also had a covered patio area. Only downside was the slightly slow service to get our food, so be prepared to wait a bit, but well worth it.
Will definitely be back!

The Hunter was amazing, juicy, sweet, and savory. Loved the chips and pickle that can come with the meal. The German beer is really good. Glad that they have Underberg!

Really really good food. I definitely recommend the burgers. And for folks that want non-alcoholic beer, they have some decent ones! However, the service was basically not a thing. We walked in and stood in line and nobody greeted us. So we decided to sit at the bar. I believe the manager pointed to us sitting and the young lady rolled her eyes and told us about how we need to go to the front to see which beer to choose because they’re not in the menu. The manager ended up taking our order and he seemed pretty upset too. I don’t know if it was just a bad time, but from the time we sat down until we left we were not acknowledged at all. The same lady that rolled her eyes didn’t even fill up one of the customers beer bottle he had, and when he came up and ask if she could fill it up she just walked away. I get it that the food industry is hard, and they may have been short staffed, but you didn’t have to be so stand-offish.

Excellent German food and beer experience. There is a wide selection of beers on tap. Wine is also available. We enjoyed a giant pretzel and mustard with beer. A take out order for schnitzel, potato salad and cucumber salad was great. The schnitzel was properly breaded and cooked. The result was a very tasty treat. Both salads were authentic and excellent as well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The outside Bier Garten would be fantastic in warm weather, and the indoor beer hall atmosphere was very pleasant.

Love. It. Enjoyed, “The Cuban” and a Kolsch, with some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time.

We used to love coming here or meeting friends here for a cold beer and brats, sausage etc. BUT went tonight and discovered they no longer offer the vegan sausage. That’s a deal breaker. Too bad. The service was good, atmosphere is rustic, okay. The Reissdorf
Kölsch beer is great. I may eventually return if I only want a beer and French fries, but making one stop for a beer and another for food is unlikely.

Food:
Really bad. The food served to us was awful. Cold fries, stale and stone cold sausage buns, over salted Caesar salad.
We (two couples dining together) sent it all back. We got refunded, but that’s not the point. Prepping sausages and fries is not difficult.
Facility:
The serving station and kitchen are in full view of the public and the photos kind of say it all.
Keeping a food serving business clean should be a top priority, as should hygienic handling of cleaning equipment by food servers (see photo).
Transactions:
Being asked to pay (and tip!) upfront is a huge discourtesy to paying customers.
At 8pm on a Saturday evening, this place should be buzzing. It was practically empty. Folks do tend to vote with their feet.
The good news is that a talented food and service professional could turn things around quickly. This place could and should be a gold mine.

Love this place. Truly authentic German food and beer. They have a wide range of German imported beers, but also local or domestic beers like IPAs and ciders. Some of the best burgers southside. I also love their selection of sausages, ranging from andouilles to brats to kielbasa! Their perogies are really good too! It has a true beer garden feel in that the tables are the long tables and benches you’d see at a German fest. Plenty of seating inside and out. Food comes out quickly and the service is efficient. We love to eat here.
