Went for the special EDIBLE INSECT & WINE PAIRING EVENT. The service was great and friendly. There’s a large variety of wine, beer, hard seltzer, ciders and non alcoholic beers. Nice relaxing lounge music playing inside and outside. The outdoor area is large with firepits, a few games and is well maintained. A great spot for a drink in the neighborhood

Not sure if it’s because it’s Friday night, but this place is really cool. Cozy little place. Live music, fire going outside near the food truck (it’s January!), little bar inside with variety of draft beer, wine by the glass. Coolers full of craft beer 6 packs to go. Huge variety of great wine by the bottle which you can open to drink on premise and/or take with you, all very reasonably priced. This is perfect for couples or small groups who want a more quiet place but not boring. Good vibe here.

Fermental, Wilmington’s original bottle shop and beer garden, marks a decade of delight in a vintage 1950’s service station. We had an incredible time exploring their superb beers, wines, sake, mead, and more. Live music and food trucks added to the festive vibe in the pet-friendly outdoor beer garden. Recently voted Best Beer Bar in NC, their move to a larger space offered a plethora of draft beer and convenient parking. Casual and cozy, Fermental was a blast for all! Personally, my favorite was the THC Water – a true delight!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff! Dog friendly and wonderful outdoor space with fires when it’s cold! You can buy wine by the bottle to go and they have a great selection!

Cool little bottle shop with beer, wine, and slushy options in the cargo district. It wasn’t too busy, and there was a beer garden in the back with some lawn games. Bonus points for having a back window with a doorbell in the beer garden so you don’t have to go back inside to order another round!
