Birria quesadilla: extremely greasy, and for someone that is a huge birria fan this one tasted off. The oil was dripping with every bite and the most disappointing part was the cheap tortilla. The kind that hardens when you warm it up…it didn’t give a “freshly made quesadilla” appeal.
Surf and turf potato: Better than the quesadilla but again, left a lot to be desired. There was a fair amount of meat, that was seasoned, but once you ate that the potato part was bland. Maybe some salt or queso on the bottom?
The waitress looked like she was occupied training/chatting with other employees and didn’t offer any drink refills. She checked in on us once and then speedily brought us over our tab even though there was literally no one else inside dining. Made us feel rushed and just overall not a cozy eating environment.
For those with kids, please keep in mind there is one high chair available and no changing area in restroom. Also wanted to add, don’t expect complimentary chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants they do not offer that.
I almost forgot to mention, the customer service was exceptional!
The second time I ordered the chicken tacos, which was just OK, But then I found a bone in the chicken. The third time I ordered the beef Tacos. I could only eat one, I gave the rest to my Colleague. Who then said, they were the worst tacos he’s ever had.
The atmosphere is completely off, it’s still decorated like the Old Restaurant with a little bit of Mexican decorations. Talked with a few locals and nobody seems to like it.
