Best sushi roll in that area. Perfect taste, freshly made. It’s in a gas station but don’t let that stop you. The quality of the food is better than some restaurants. The sauce is to die for. Didn’t need any soy sauce.

Thought the other reviews were suspicious since it’s a gas station. But I was surprised because the sushi was actually great, and tasted better than some actual sushi places. The service is good, the man running it was nice, and it takes about 10-15 minutes to wait for your food. The inside is a gas station, but it’s a really nice gas station, which was clean from what I could see. And when you get your sushi you just pay at the register of the gas station and you can enjoy your food. Overall, this place is criminally underrated and definitely will be going again.

Was in the area from Wheatland, decided to look up places to grab something to eat. Went to Feather River Sushi met Javier! He was very accommodating with finding a roll that was pregnancy friendly. I went for the Maui roll and it was delicious! Freshly made and clean ingredients. Will definitely come back in.

I was genuinely impressed with Feather River Sushi. My son wanted sushi and found this place because it was close to my parents’ house. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first since it’s located in a gas station, but after seeing all the great reviews we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did. We ordered a bunch of rolls to take home and every single one was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and really well made. I’ve had sushi at places like Nobu and Morimoto, and honestly the rolls here were just as good, if not better, than some of those high-end spots. They only make rolls, no nigiri or sashimi, but the rolls are so good that it didn’t matter. Everyone in my family loved them and we will definitely be back. I only wish it was closer to where we live because we’d be there every weekend. Highly recommend.

Best sushi I’ve ever had! I usually call about 20 minutes ahead and let the chef make whatever special he wants, and it always blows me away. It might be inside a gas station, but the sushi bar in the corner serves some of the freshest, most delicious sushi around. The owner is super nice too, which makes the whole experience even better. I always mean to take a photo of my food, but it’s so good it gets devoured before I remember! A true hidden gem.

I had been wanting to try feather river sushi for a while but life got a little busy. Well today I decided to stop by and pick up rolls for me and my husband- the Plumas and Eel. Javi is super nice and friendly. After chatting I learned he used to work at Blue Nami Sushi for 13 years so he definitely knows quality sushi. I’m hoping he opens a brick and mortar when there’s more infrastructure.
The sushi is delicious and fresh and I love supporting a local neighbor. We will be back!

Was very skeptical about having gas station sushi. Ordered only 2 rolls and was not disappointed. Tasted very good and fresh.
