The best thing on the menu is the water.
This is by far the WORST restaurant in Tyler, Tx that I have eaten at.
This place smells bad like the carpet is sour and mildew.

Drove in from Lufkin to have dinner with my mom. She gave us two options and we chose here.
GREAT, GREAT CHOICE!
Had a triple dip appetizer, spinach, a salsa (probably to me the best salsa I’ve ever had, even better than mine), can’t remember the third.
Our meals were AWESOME! Very very good….
and if you’re lucky enough to get Naomi as your waitress, THEN YOU HIT THE JACKPOT!
It’s hard to say which was better the food or the waitress.

We ordered the triple dipper as an appetizer. It was good. We ordered the cotton candy martini, tango and rose city. The drinks are strong and not watered down like some other places. We also ordered the spinach chicken pasta, bacon burger, the trio, and the grilled shrimp. The bacon the burger was candied bacon which I personally really like and it goes well with the burger. We came around 4:30 which there wasn’t much of a wait time. The food was delicious and our waiter was very attentive.

Really enjoyed the food and setting here. They had one of the prettiest platings for chicken parmesan that I’d ever seen. The top sirloin and shrimp were delicious.

This was our first visit. We will definitely be back. They handle large groups with ease. The food is outstanding! Definitely recommend the cedar plank salmon!

Food was decent, but could be more elevated. The deviled eggs were alright, the cole slaw was too plain, the ribs were satisfactory enough to be content with, and fries were good.
Getting my check took longer than anticipated, but staff was still friendly.

1st visit to FD’s, and if we lived nearby, we’d return. We were seated pretty quickly, less than 10 minutes at 5:30pm. Our server, Savannah, was fantastic, and the food didn’t take too long. The Triple Play was perfect, and my husband really enjoyed the ribs. I got the sirloin and it was fine – not amazing, but I took my leftovers, lol..well, not the “fresh” green beans, which were overcooked and mealy. The matchstick veggies were good, though. Overall, great service, great prices and good food.

Don’t go on a Sunday.. Very busy unless you like to wait.. It was a long wait. First time and last time.. My friend gave good reviews. But she wasn’t happy today..Our food was cold. Met need to try another day.

Worst steak I was ever served. I’m an eater, we got 2 appetizers, crab dip and gumbo, and they were ok. The gumbo tasted eerily similar to Campbell’s Soup. I get fish and chips anywhere I see it on the menu, but I also wanted steak, and splurged on the 8oz filet. I ordered it medium rare. Filet came out as a burnt to a crisp hockey puck. It was like a hamburger steak. The included baked potato was hard as rock on the outside, and so cold it didn’t even melt the butter or cheese. The fish was just some mystery tasteless fish sticks. No slabs of fish in a delicious batter, just mass market sysco delivery. There was nothing flavorful about it. My wife got 50/50 crawfish. It was worse. The crawfish was chewy and dry like old bubblegum from under the table. Would never recommend this spot to anyone
