The chicken is the show stopper. It’s cooked fresh to order, well seasoned, with the right amount of crunch. All of the sides are made from scratch. The red beans are my favorite. Great service!! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is sparkling clean. I will definitely be back!!

Update: 2nd time buyer and it was even better than before! The owner also says she’s planning new desserts, such as a 7-up cake and more. Made to order chicken and from scratch sides. Highly recommended.
They recently opened, so still decorating and getting everything set up. But the great customer service from 2 very sweet ladies, was refreshing as compared to commercial chains. The fried chicken was crispy and perfectly fried. The collard greens, which are made fresh daily, was ON POINT!! The cornbread muffin was on the sweet side with a golden baked top that was delicious! So if you’re craving fried chicken and don’t want to have to take out a second mortgage to feed a large family, this is your place. Where the food is made with love, not a machine.

The place is really nice and clean. The lady was so sweet and the food is amazing! We had the Mac & cheese, fries and fried chicken (dark). Everything fresh and and the breading in the chicken is wonderful! I highly recommend it!

The chicken here is divine. Totally unique flavor and crunchy texture, unlike any other place in town. Their collards are spicy and delicious as well. At the moment, they are call ahead or take out only, no place to dine in yet. Definitely worth the trip over to Pontchartrain drive. Skip the chicken chains and give this place a try!!!

My neighbour told me about this business three weeks ago and I have not stopped stopped coming since! I met Miss Gaynell her beautiful daughter and her husband they are a fine family and they are dedicated to providing excellent quality delicious food. The restaurant is impeccably clean with warm atmosphere and they are so welcoming of all of their customers and they appreciate your business so I highly highly recommend you stop in try their food I promise you will not be disappointed.

Asked for dark meat chicken. Got home white meat chicken was in the box. I threw it away because I do not eat white meat. Called back and was told they would replace it. I was in the hose for the evening after a long day. She stated when you can get back we will replace. Went back for the next order and they had a different story. No I’m not replacing it. My money in the garbage. A sign had been placed on the counter to check your box before you leave that many mistakes? Sides are never cooked to last the entire day so if you don’t get there when they open the greens are sold out shortly after. NEVER AGAIN.

My three-piece chicken meal was fresh and straight out of the fryer. The customer service was excellent. I loved the juicy, crispy chicken skin. I will definitely be returning for more fried chicken!
